I want to get a LMTV so bad. I have been looking for one. I enjoy your videos & have been binge watching your video since yesterday, and really enjoy how family oriented you are. And how informative you are with the LMTV.
@TheDieselStop Thanks for the support! This does mean a lot to me! I have wanted a LMTV for about 4 years before I bought this one in July. I always tried justifying why I cant buy one instead of figuring how to buy one. I went to overland expo in Redmond Oregon where saw amazing rigs people built out and heard amazing stories. This gave me confidence to go ahead and try it. My dream would be to see LMTVs built out and driving all over the place!
Definitely do the engine oil change for the next one. Now question, did you have to bleed any air out of the fuel line prior to starting the engine or is there a mechanism that automatically does that?
There is a black priming button on the fuel/water Separator that I pressed 5 times. I felt the fuel pressure in the line was sufficient to start the truck with only 5. I have seen other people on RUclips press it around 40 times so it depends. Either my truck is blessed, or something will break later, only time will tell haha
Good stuff. Keep em coming. And thanks for sharing the knowledge
