Loved this town. I highly recommend it for anyone planning a trip to Italy. It's so calm and serene compared to the cities. Thanks for the great video.
Wow!! Tu estilo para grabar es el mejor para mi, relajado y con muchos detalles solo me falto poder oler y sentir el sabor de la comida!! Gracias! fabulosooooo... Un abrazo desde Tijuana, Mexico
We’ve spent several holidays in Cortona and enjoying it Leah’s very much. Specially the icecream of the Snoopy bar! Tip: visit the museum on the square with the fantastic painting of Fra Angelica.
Many fond memories of cortina when I was younger. You captured the stillness so well and the major sights. Thank you. There was an elderly lady who use to live there. She had lost her legs. Once or twice a week I would see her sliding a bag of groceries up the hill. She we never let us help her carry them. And you just experienced how steep the streets were. It was about a ten minute walk from Piaza Publica for myself, from the A and I grocery to her apartment. I cannot believe she did that. She literally crawled. Thank you again for the wonderful filming.
I am planning to visit Cortona, thank you for this video. Do you know if the cafes, restaurants and shops are opened all year-round? January-February..
We visited Cortona a few years ago and it is beautiful! The church of Santa Margherita is stunning and you can actually visit Santa Margherita as her mummy is located at the altar. Incredible! It just so happens that we stayed at the B&B where she actually lived for a time. The B&B includes a chapel that has been consecrated in her honor. Amazing!
mi godo camminare insieme a te. you take me places I have been and places I have not and I love to listen to the different languages around you. I am in love with tutta l'italia (Essendo australiana da genitori italian! )
All we need to do is to plot an itinerary of where we want to visit around Italy which must include some of the Alps. So much to see so little time to do it in. We wait and see what happens with the energy crisis and costs. The last thing we would want to do is go there and use up Italy and Europe's recources.
I really enjoy all your videos, but I do wish the colours were not enhanced? The oranges and reds can be quite garish, and people look bright orange too! I think it's more beautiful with the natural colours, shiwi g us how it really is. Not meant to criticise, just my opinion and observation 😊 thank you for the videos, they help me plan my next trip to Italy!
