Love in the Family (John

John 14:15-21
Jesus delivered the Masterclass on discipleship to His disciples on the eve before His crucifixion for our salvation. Through this class, we are instructed on how to follow the teacher as His disciples in daily life. Today’s lesson from the Masterclass calls us to express our love for Jesus through our love for one another. Since Jesus knows the difficulty in loving other people, He provides us with strong support and assurance as we love all those in the church, including those who wrong us.

Your comments as illustrations of people in the church is bold. True. There are people in the church that are hard to love BUT is this a verse on discipleship or salvation because i wonder how the free grace understanding reacts to the condition that IF we love Jesus we will obey His commandments...is that conditional for salvation or do we just miss the blessings of God?
