As a little boy my dad would take us to the varsity, he as a little boy would walk through the pasture witch now is ga. Tech ,he and his little dog. Mr or Mrs. Gordy would open their door to my dad and his puppy and turn cartoons on so my dad could watch. As a young man I worked at Coca-Cola on spring Street and my aunt's went and played basketball at tech, we'd always eat at the varsity. Today I'm 65 and still go and eat the Best dogs and the works at the main location there across from tech. Thank you ALL for Still today in 2024 giving Us The Best.

I come from Germany and traveled to Atlanta alone as a 15-year-old boy in 1989. I also ate there at the Varsity. I won't forget this. A great time!
Nobody makes coleslaw and chili as delicious as The Varsity. 👍⬆
I've eaten at the Varsity a couple of times and really enjoyed it! Generous servings.
I thought it was a hotdog place(?)
It's a chocolate milk place.
It’s crap now. Hasn’t been the same since the early 1990’s. Food is not the same as it used to be.
