They will. Say what you want about America, it's built on the embedded human nature of being free. Humans want what they want. Some will fall in line and be sheep. But there will always be a remnant of those who refuse to be slaves and will overturn the cabal.
@@byron9630 I’ve done a video on Bitcoin back in 2021. Also, I think conspiratorial thinking is not a partisan issue, but it has ties to anti-establishment sentiment.
I think what makes this unlikely is that the majority of stocks are owned by the 1% in the US and abroad. You have to fact check me on this, I don’t remember the exact number, but I know in terms of volume they say 61% of Americans own stocks but the volume of stocks and other investments are quite slim. The majority of investments, I think as high as 80% or 90%, are owned by the hyper-wealthy by market cap. The middle class and lower upper class participate but these individuals are not moving the market (aside from individual stocks like GameStop). So a move like this would actively hurt the people it’s aiming to protect, if this was a class issue. And if this was a government issue, destroying the US investment market would tank the US Dollar and could lead to the nation’s collapse, again working against its desired outcome. In terms of your idea of eliminating the majority of the population as a desire of the hyper-wealthy, I think this is a bit farcical. The hyper-wealthy do not have to deal with the crowds of average hordes unless they live in places like New York and walk the streets. Otherwise they travel to exclusive destinations and live in exclusive enclaves where even the moderately wealthy are just priced out of the market. If they decide to go to a place like Disneyland/world, they get the fast pass or whatever program that lets you use the tunnels underground that normally only staff are allowed to use, travel in golf carts, and skip the lines. On top of this, most developed, wealthy, western countries are already experiencing demographic collapse that is destabilizing to societies and economies alike. Furthermore, “elites” only have value in comparison-they need contrast to feel special and valuable. Which means they need to retain a population of the lower and middle classes in order to feel superior and worthwhile if their identity is as outwardly focused and psychopathic as you’re implying. I would say what is more apparent is a type of social Darwinism at play. Where the elites at least in the US attempted to serve and lead this country in thought/discourse and action, they have since abandoned this noblesse oblige and allowed socially harmful ideas to prosper and flourish while discouraging discourse. One explanation is that allowing the lower and middle classes to argue amongst themselves keeps them too occupied to come together to force social, political or economic change and therefore reinforces their power. Another idea is that it’s a type of culling-a nihilistic belief that those who cannot think and go along with whatever catastrophic societal beliefs or practices are ruining their lives deserve the outcome. This is more scary to me. We definitely need to prioritize humanism in the US, which involves actually caring about this country, society, and it’s people.
In Mexico they have been “leasing” stock since always - the stockholders don’t own the stock, the custodians (corporations) hold on to the stock for you. The courts would have to be “in” on such a great taking.
I've said that many times. If you're worried about the entire stock market going under, in some sort of doomsday scenario, then the "cashing out" of the market is useless. The money you have wouldn't be worth the paper it's printed on. If that's your fear, you might as well build a doomsday bunker and fill it with bare essentials and have the ability to defend what's yours. People say, I'll buy gold and precious metals. Oh really? Who's to say, in such an apocalyptic scenario, that people would value gold? And if they did, what would keep them from taking it from you? Because if the entire economy went under, there'd be pure anarchy. If you're afraid of all of this, I feel for you. That's no way to live--in fear of a financial holocaust.
@@AFNick Maybe consider a review of the book, "The creature from Jekyll Island." The author presents a sequence of changing events that would be interesting to analyze in todays context.
Food for thought.....but most people are not interested or distracted. So "the great taking" is a clear likelihood. If you understand how money has been corrupted and centrally controlled, you will be able to see the taking already has been taking place. Bailouts, money printing, etc have created more and more centralization of ownership. From land, to biz, to media, to gov....all has been bought by fractional reserve fiat and money printing
Direct ownership without third party custodian is needed if you think great taking is risk is materially high. I think if the exchanges failing, collateral would be the least of the your worries.

Digitization is the future, big money and the government want it. Eventually cash will require a penalty to use and it go away. Things like Zelle and Venmo will win out in the end. The question is, can this happen and privacy and property rights be maintained?

At the time Ben Stein got on TV and admitted he's an owner of BP stock; but argued that the company shouldn't have to pay for this because that will hurt the stockholder.
