Rebecca. Buy a wooden dowel and drill hole in the end. Put the wooden dowel in a battery operated drill put the wire in the hole you drilled out in the dowel and pull the trigger on the drill.. BAM!!!! you have a jump ring maker for around a dollar 50 American. Given you already own a drill.
The tool saves time and even cuts. Easy to solder.
