With recent resources, this is impossible, because 3DS ROMs are scarce over the internet, same for emulators. Also, no existing emulator allows for free cam for the 3DS yet.
Ok if he can't do Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon boundary break then maybe he can do Luigi's Mansion 3 boundary break for the Nintendo Switch. That means for now he should focus on the Nintendo Switch rather than the 3ds. The last game in a while that has been on the Switch was Super Mario Oddessy so he should start there.
The Luigi's Mansion Beta had the same animation when Luigi is choking (If you watch is slowly, there is a frame with luigi's forehead kind of darkened) where you had a timer, and if you failed to finish the game before the timer ends, the "good night" scene was luigi sitting in front of the main door WITH THAT FACE (which is a creepy one, his face was elongated and with a sad and exhausted expression). They scraped the idea of the timer, thankfully.
that was actually never used in the game, it was just in the trailer, and the timer was only used for the demo, if you want more details watch beta 64's video on luigi's mansion (specifically the one that says "revisited")
The 19th Fighter its not, if you pause at he right moment, you can see his eyelids are closed over his eyes, and that his eyes are just being shut, but from a different perspective, it does look like the game over screen from the beta
The shrinking mario head part was a funny discovery.Seeing mario's head shrink so much before he was about to be pushed out of the vent really made me laugh.
This is a cool series. One game I'd like to see you do is Viva Piñata (or it's sequel Trouble in Paradise), as I always wanted to explore the extremely detailed scenery that you could see out of the boundary that you could explore.
Here's something you can see in the game without even using hacks! When you are in the observatory room after you look through the telescope, use your game boy horror to look at the moon. Great right? But now look to the right. You will see the damaged moon with Mario's Star on it, even though you never blew up the moon yet. You can also scan the moon's platform as a scannable object, but it will only give Luigi's Dialogue after you blow up the moon. Lastly, once you have blown up the moon and are on the moon platform, hit the Y button. You can see that Luigi is far outside the barriers of Luigi's Mansion, and the camera can be messed around with a bit.
i like another butt joke i heard in one of these. i cant remember if it was here or Slipping Out "as interesting as this is, like your mom theirs a big but"
I have never seen that unused boss at the beginning (not on The Cutting Room Floor, at least back when I looked awhile ago) so when I did in this video, before you explained how and where it was found and etc, I was like "Wtf is that!? Where'd that come from!?"
Also hat animation is half in the game the same one is used for when those grabber ghosts grab you all that isn’t there are those odd eyes and *i think that they also got rid of his whole shaking and inhaling animation after the animation ends and the poison stops working
It was so much better without the intro. The intro can alienate viewers who are new to the channel, as they would be confused as to what the video is about. But with this video, right at the beginning you briefly said what the video was about and got right into it! Definitley should keep it that way I think. Especially with the outro there is no need for an intro
How does it alienate viewers? It starts the game close up, than zooms outside the game where it normally wouldn't look this way. Than it cuts to Luigi's mansion. The intro was beautifully done without words, and just visuals. The only thing I would add is boundary break after the zoom into Luigi's mansion. THe way he showed it made sense to the show he does.
You need to read his comment again. He's saying this video was better because it didn't use a long animated intro that could potentially confuse new viewers.
NOWHERE did he say that. He literally says, it was better WITHOUT the intro. NoWHERE did he say it didn't use as long as a video, he literally says it's better without the intro. "It was so much better without the intro. The intro can alienate viewers who are new to the channel, as they would be confused as to what the video is about. But with this video, right at the beginning you briefly said what the video was about and got right into it! Definitely should keep it that way I think. Especially with the outro there is no need for an intro". You need to read again, as he stated that it was short and nice. He thought the intro can alienate videos, but it doesn't. Get some glasses. He is also retarded if he can't get the opening. It doesn't alienate anyone. Both of you should stop talking, since neihter of you know wtf you are talking about.
I seriously am loving this series; there's so much detail and hidden stuff in some of these games I used to play when I was younger! Keep up the awesome work dude, this series is honestly my favorite thing so far. :D
the black figure at the beginning cutscene reminds me of one of the bosses. I can't remember what it's called since it has been a long time since I played it. for some reason it would turn purple in battle, but you had to suck black cloned version of it and use it as weapon. so... pretty much fight fire with fire.
I'm glad I'm one of the early 11k subscribers. You've got a lot more going for you with this series! I hope you'll grab that gold play button soon!!! :)
6:00 They actually are playing poker together. The picture of the ghosts is actually a picture of a scene that went unused in the final game. Only a very small bit of footage exists of the scene and a few screenshots. There's a really good screenshot of the scene and I'll provide a link to it. www.mariowiki.com/File:Beta_Poker_2000.jpg
Jordan LaBella I don't think that they would have been Portrait Ghosts since they appeared in the Parlor. It most likely would have been the first ghost encounter of the game.
I've only just watched the intro but I can already tell this is going to be fun! I love exploring with the camera in these kind of games and never really found anyone else interested in that kind of stuff. Thank you so much for making these!!! Now I'll be binge watching your videos for the next few hours :D
Shesez I think the ones with giant structures in the background work best, like Mario Sunshine and F-Zero GX. I love looking at those. Would openworld games be any good? Games like Spider Man 2 have a big city loaded at all times, but at different detail levels depending on where you are. Just an idea :)
Ah, excited for Breath of the Wild I see? Me too! Maybe one day we will get magic cameras in all Wii U games, or even NX! I can't imagine how much secret stuff is hiding in all these modern games.
6:13 This is because there is a playable Luigi unable to move and invisible, while there is the Luigi, the one that moves with E Gadd. There are two Luigi's in every cutscene.
Thanks man, happened fast this time! I just looked at the day i announced that i hit 2000 people who subscribed and I guess it took 18 days to reach another 1000. It's nuts
when i was just figuring out this game when i was 8 and i beat it, the moment when the mario bros laughed together brought nostalgia back to me and made me cry a bit to see them back together as for how much crap luigi went through he was still happy to see his shorter and red little brother laughing right with him...
"Beta" in the world of technology is actually a shortened term for "beta test". And the definition of beta test is "a trial of machinery, software, or other products, in the final stages of its development, carried out by a party unconnected with its development". I only know this because my professor once corrected someone for trying to make a similar difference. only i think they claimed there was a difference between beta and trials
+Shesez oh! Never expected a reply. Thought you referred to beta as meaning it was part of a beta build to be used in the final product.... My apologies.
Thought you would make a joke about the obvious greenscreen at the end, like. Having it fall down or something and you turn around and go "Uhhhh... Yeah... You thought I actually went outside?"
"That picture, it's so BOOTY-ful!" Talking like a a toddler is so awesome💕Me, My mommy, and younger sissy all talk like toddlers, too!😊I also just LOVE u, man💕
The three ghosts on Elvin Gadd's Portrification machine were actually playing a card game. During the showing of luigi's mansion from spaceworld 2000, these three ghosts are shown. The on on the left lays down some cards and either the middle or right shows an expression of frustration. I can't remember at the moment. They only appeared in a 3 second clip, so it's hard to catch but if you look up spaceworld luigis mansion ghosts it's very easy to see for yourself.
Honestly Luigis Mansion is my second favorite game of all time. Seeing all these new outward angles and views on some of these interesting things really puts it into perspective for me.
Seems like they just took off the straps for convenience's sake during the cutscene. It's probably easier to put them somewhere else than to make a new model of Luigi without them for the scene. I'm sure they thought it was funny to make bounce up and down though.
That ending music made me cry when I first beat the game. "Man. That's it. I finished. Luigi got mario back. No big boss fight, no catchy one liner. Just, two brothers. And a reprise of the theme." Its just, I love it when they do that. They change the theme to match the mood, specifically when its super happy like this :'3
When I first played this game I was like 8 and my sister and I had this theory that E. Gadd was a ghost himself because of his weird floaty hair that looked “ghostlike”. We were convinced that at the end of the game he would reveal himself as the final boss or something
for being outside you must be immune to sun rays cuz that bright sunny sky and your features and hat didnt cast a single shadow, an muting the birds was quite the phenominon
I feel like Mario games need to end off more like Luigis Mansion. It was emotional but happy. With just Luigis laughter you can just kind of sense his love for Mario and his relief of having him back
I'm now reminded how I felt really bad for Luigi at the very end in the game as I remember that one shed of tear from his eye when he finally saw Mario again.
When Luigi is getting Poisoned you can see a unused Luigi model and ending. People say that this model was used for a bad ending were Luigi couldn’t save Mario and he became depressed.
No matter the angle, the ending of Luigi laughing in joy always brings a tear to my eye.
How much I try to not get teary eyes I always fail. ;_; It's one of the most beautiful ending scenes ever to exist.
+4xzx4 I don't like watching it because... The feels...
Both Mario and Luigi laugh together.. It just shows how much Luigi loves his twin brother, and vice-versa. TuT
Gum Skyloard actually, Mario is a sociopath and doesnt love anyone....
Christina Garcia.
That one got dark.
hm
nobody else noticed the air animation was the same as depressed luigi?
I did.
me i did
gravitybreaker1 I did
is that the one beta picture that is theorized to have appeared if you got the minimum rank mansion
While it is from teh beta,
I *believe* it's the game over screen if you run out of time.
Not sure, I don't remember.
You should totally do this for when the 3DS version comes out and see what has changed
James The Gamer 22 What's your favorite and least favorite portrait ghosts?
If its possible
I can't be the only person who is a teenager and still gets creeped out by this game
C P Nope
Not even close
i'm 19 and still feel a tad bit creeped out
@Jack James invisible ghosts man, the unseen is fucking scary
Your not the only one buddy
I’m not gonna lie, the ending of Luigi’s Mansion makes me emotional.
3:23 DANG LUIGI HAS NICE TEETH!
YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU JUST STARTED!
...are you sure that's outside?
Unless im inside the matrix or something I can be very certain I was outside lol
Shesez Huh, looked really greenscreened. Like, the light on you looked really unnatural.
I stood under a Gazebo because the natural light was saturating my face
Shesez Ohh ok
Shesez SHURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Who else thinks he would make a boundary break for Luigis mansion dark moon?
With recent resources, this is impossible, because 3DS ROMs are scarce over the internet, same for emulators. Also, no existing emulator allows for free cam for the 3DS yet.
Thats to bad
Super_Sp0nge80b I have super smash bros for 3ds rom and an emulator
Ok if he can't do Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon boundary break then maybe he can do Luigi's Mansion 3 boundary break for the Nintendo Switch. That means for now he should focus on the Nintendo Switch rather than the 3ds. The last game in a while that has been on the Switch was Super Mario Oddessy so he should start there.
Good idea I like luigi's mansion
Man that last part always made me emotional. Great video dude
same man
I was so happy when I finally beat it as a little kid.
I hate that photo I always changed to another video when I saw that because it creeped me out.
Zim would be PROUD
The timer never functioned like that
Scp 939 The timer was simply used for demo purposes. At 1:30 E. Gadd would pop up and say time was up, then the player would be booted to the menu.
that was actually never used in the game, it was just in the trailer, and the timer was only used for the demo, if you want more details watch beta 64's video on luigi's mansion (specifically the one that says "revisited")
The animation for getting poisoned is used, when being grabbed by the grabbing ghosts. The facial expression however, isn't.
Luigi is smarter then mario confirmed
he can tie shoes Mario can't
UitchatZero tf is wrong with you
Christina Garcia fuck off will ya?
not all smart people can tie shoes some people can ace chemistry and still not know how to tie
Zelda pro maybe nintendo's mistake
neither do I but I'm good with tech and chemistry
How and no one ever cared that the texture which comes up when poisoned is the same as in the E3 ending?
I care. I ripped it, and uploaded it to TCRF.
The 19th Fighter its not, if you pause at he right moment, you can see his eyelids are closed over his eyes, and that his eyes are just being shut, but from a different perspective, it does look like the game over screen from the beta
Oh man, the care-free silly attatude he had in these early episodes.
The shrinking mario head part was a funny discovery.Seeing mario's head shrink so much before he was about to be pushed out of the vent really made me laugh.
It’s nostalgic to come back to this video this was the first shesez video I watched
love your channel man
I love you! thanks for the support dude
:) Keep up this amazing series, the Nostalgia is just awesome and flying to places we couldn't see it just pure awesomeness. 👌👌👌
Shesez just subscribed yesterday and I can't believe how much I love these videos, very unique and you seem like a real swell dude 😎
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
This is a cool series. One game I'd like to see you do is Viva Piñata (or it's sequel Trouble in Paradise), as I always wanted to explore the extremely detailed scenery that you could see out of the boundary that you could explore.
I think this was one of the most polished episodes so far. Jumping straight into the game makes it flow so well. Keep it up!
4:21 that is definitely King Boo. Strange they have him without a crown here.
Here's something you can see in the game without even using hacks!
When you are in the observatory room after you look through the telescope, use your game boy horror to look at the moon.

its really cool seeing beta elements & unseen textures :D
This is a BIG JUICY But *Insert Lenny Face*
i like another butt joke i heard in one of these. i cant remember if it was here or Slipping Out "as interesting as this is, like your mom theirs a big but"
(ಠ o ಠ)¤=[]:::::>
The spookiest part of this video is the exact video length.
I have never seen that unused boss at the beginning (not on The Cutting Room Floor, at least back when I looked awhile ago) so when I did in this video, before you explained how and where it was found and etc, I was like "Wtf is that!? Where'd that come from!?"

2:37 missed opportunity to say bootiful
I hope you picked up the slack and *boo'd* me at this moment
+Shesez boo! XD
Do you mind if some of this stuff goes on TCRF with credit?
Oh absolutely. Please do
Shesez Thanks
The sound effect from the locked door matches the first few notes of the main theme...
Your vids keep showing up in my recommendations, glad i'm here
srocketdude your profile pic begs to differ
You look like your being sarcastic, because you are a haunter giving the middle fingers complimenting a channel (basically).
Karamatsu's Painful Pants oh oops you said that before i did sorry i should've read first mate.
I learned today that video games are trickery too.
It was so much better without the intro. The intro can alienate viewers who are new to the channel, as they would be confused as to what the video is about. I seriously am loving this series; there's so much detail and hidden stuff in some of these games I used to play when I was younger! Keep up the awesome work dude, this series is honestly my favorite thing so far. :D
E GADD, you crazy old maaannn, what you doin livin in a hole for?
the black figure at the beginning cutscene reminds me of one of the bosses. Can't wait for that Majora's Mask episode. (;
Luigi certainly found the "flat note" funny😂😂
when you poisened luigi there was the game over face from the beta of luigis mansion
that's not a game over screen. that is a rendered cutscene for advertisement purposes.
The only thing left about this game is
Why does Luigi look up at the celling in that one room?
I'm glad I'm one of the early 11k subscribers. You've got a lot more going for you with this series! I hope you'll grab that gold play button soon!!! :)
Nipplestroke shut the fuck up no one cares and youre not special
thevideogamelover99
Why are you so mad, kid?
Nipplestroke because you stupid fucks who state when they subscribed to a channel act special. like youre owed something almost
thevideogamelover99
I was simply wishing him well with the series and you went apeshit from it. Something's wrong with you.
No need to harsh on the guy. He's just being supportive and I really appreciate that!
It's crazy how good this game still looks after all of these years. The lighting is fantastic.
Dude the clock on the GBH is a beta element!!
That gameboy horror is a beta element
GRAND DAD!
the game boy horror was called game boy color in the beta.
did you know that luigi's mansion is a stage in mario hoops 3 on 3?
we could see it in more detail if we got an episode
6:00 They actually are playing poker together. The picture of the ghosts is actually a picture of a scene that went unused in the final game. Jordan LaBella I don't think that they would have been Portrait Ghosts since they appeared in the Parlor. It most likely would have been the first ghost encounter of the game.
the animation for luigi getting poisoned wasn't scrapped, it's the same one when luigi's getting choked by those ghosts
I've only just watched the intro but I can already tell this is going to be fun! I love exploring with the camera in these kind of games and never really found anyone else interested in that kind of stuff. Thank you so much for making these!!! Now I'll be binge watching your videos for the next few hours :D
Dude im glad you liked it! let me know what you thought of any others that speak out to you :)
Shesez I think the ones with giant structures in the background work best, like Mario Sunshine and F-Zero GX. I love looking at those. Would openworld games be any good? Games like Spider Man 2 have a big city loaded at all times, but at different detail levels depending on where you are. Just an idea :)
I think the first open world game i want to tackle is Breath of The Wild :). Which means im totally "open" to that "world" XD
Ah, excited for Breath of the Wild I see? Me too! Maybe one day we will get magic cameras in all Wii U games, or even NX! I can't imagine how much secret stuff is hiding in all these modern games.
There is developing news in such area :)
Nothing set in stone yet though
6:13 This is because there is a playable Luigi unable to move and invisible, while there is the Luigi, the one that moves with E Gadd. There are two Luigi's in every cutscene.
Hey buddy, congrats on 3,000 subscribers. Love this series!
Thanks man, happened fast this time! I just looked at the day i announced that i hit 2000 people who subscribed and I guess it took 18 days to reach another 1000. It's nuts
+Shesez I would have loved to see the what the ghost luigi shadow accually looked like
the one in the attic?
yeah the floathing shadow.
The floating shadow in the attic, during Luigi's phone call, appears to be one of Luigi hanging by a rope around his neck on the wall... scary.
when i was just figuring out this game when i was 8 and i beat it, the moment when the mario bros laughed together brought nostalgia back to me and made me cry a bit to see them back together as for how much crap luigi went through he was still happy to see his shorter and red little brother laughing right with him...
Maybe Mario's shoelaces got stuck in the ghost portificationizer machine
For some reason the portrait behind the bust reminds me of Daniel Howell
*this is a big juicy but* umm 😂 WRONG WORD CHOICE!!🤣
Man, My bro has no body, just arms!
The three ghosts image looks like the three ghosts from Casper.
Possible easter egg?
4:22 its a test room, not a beta room. The random stuff is because it was used to test things in the game. It was never meant to be in the final game.
"Beta" in the world of technology is actually a shortened term for "beta test". And the definition of beta test is "a trial of machinery, software, or other products, in the final
stages of its development, carried out by a party unconnected with its
development".
I only know this because my professor once corrected someone for trying to make a similar difference. only i think they claimed there was a difference between beta and trials
+Shesez oh! Never expected a reply. Thought you referred to beta as meaning it was part of a beta build to be used in the final product.... My apologies.
1:05 Ok then
Did you know? The derp eyes went unused.
Oh cool! That random gold coin in then back is the unused coin animation! Just look up unused things from Luigis Mansion, you'll find it
That is not a boolossus, that is king boo without his crown.
Please please please do one for banjo kazooie/ banjo tooie!
It may actually happen
OMG, haven't gotten that far yet, plz tel me it's a thing...
3:31 Did anyone else notice that E. Gadd's lab looks like a vacuum cleaner?
love dat greenscreen at the end!
I just cant wait to play the remake on the 3Ds! I wonder if things like floating arms opening doors will still happen!
"And this is a big juicy butt." - Shesez.
TheBrandonMaster2 thats what she sez.
Back here in 2019 to celebrate Luigi's Mansion 3 and, man, this show has changed so much...
The secret boss looks like the overworld sprite for an amagamate from undertale
Yeah, kinda reminds me of Snowdrakes Mom.
4:40 look closely to the left of the room when he zooms out you can see a crying toad
"and this is a big juicy butt!"
Thought you would make a joke about the obvious greenscreen at the end, like. Having it fall down or something and you turn around and go "Uhhhh... Yeah... You thought I actually went outside?"
Watch beta64's video of luigi's mansion. It shows a way to or video of somebody exploring egads room. And the leader is Intractable.
*Ladder..
This is One of the best mario games ever. its so good!
Do luigi's mansion dark moon if you can and haven't already
***** Well he said he could do animal crossing new leaf so he could probably do that game too.
***** It's okay. It's an easy mistake if you don't read the comments.
there is already an almost fully working 3ds emulator , dont know if you can use a free camera yet on it though
Dang it! I can't get past this locked saloon door! if only I could climb over or under the saloon door...
I thought the "AM: 0:42" part of the Game Boy Horror was in the beta only how'd you get it in the main game?
Hacking and game genie codes.
keep poisoning him
Great videos! I absolutely love Luigi's Mansion!
"That picture, it's so BOOTY-ful!" Talking like a a toddler is so awesome💕Me, My mommy, and younger sissy all talk like toddlers, too!😊I also just LOVE u, man💕
Luigi getting poisoned in the beta version is just disturbing
Aw. I was wondering how they made mario moving inside the painting
0:31 So casually says that
Seems like they just took off the straps for convenience's sake during the cutscene. It's probably easier to put them somewhere else than to make a new model of Luigi without them for the scene. I'm sure they thought it was funny to make bounce up and down though.
It probably was deformation on the model, because I doubt the straps are linked to any bones.
I love your work, man. keep it up!
the "poison" is just depressed luigi + the ghost that grabbes luigi BY THE NECK!
Man, this series deserves some love. Its so underated
The end part of the video is great. He made sure that the outside of the greenwall was visible.
That ending music made me cry when I first beat the game. "Man. That's it. I finished. Luigi got mario back. No big boss fight, no catchy one liner. Just, two brothers. And a reprise of the theme." Its just, I love it when they do that. They change the theme to match the mood, specifically when its super happy like this :'3
I was poor when i was little im only 14 now but i played this in my child hood so much i beat the entire game
6:08 the ghosts were from a old luigis mansion trailer
I feel like Mario games need to end off more like Luigis Mansion. It was emotional but happy. With just Luigis laughter you can just kind of sense his love for Mario and his relief of having him back
Jelly What's your favorite and least favorite portrait ghosts?
All the Boundary Break episodes are great, but this one is my favorite. I like how you are so silly in this one!!
when he said "its a big juicy but" and I was all like "PAUSE"
I love this channel. Glad to see viewership increasing.
I'm now reminded how I felt really bad for Luigi at the very end in the game as I remember that one shed of tear from his eye when he finally saw Mario again.
The face Luigi makes would cause me to lose sleep, but Sue Pea has already done that
Yeeees! I was always curious about what was outside of the boundaries in this game for 14 years now! Thank you!
When Luigi is getting Poisoned you can see a unused Luigi model and ending. People say that this model was used for a bad ending were Luigi couldn’t save Mario and he became depressed.
I just love that real art was hidden behind the solid colored canvases
I feel like your episodes are completely ad libbed. I love it. XD
Love your channel!
