Jevil just fits in deltarune, what I mean by that is his world is revolving physically and metaphorically and the song just fits with his unsolvable insanity and lore to make the perfect character
To me, this is the true way of beating Jevil. He seems to have way more fun, he says more interesting stuff at the end and even compliments you and he indirectly joins your party.

I learned a few days ago that the Jevilstail actually is rubbish and you should get Devilsknife instead since it also increases other stats other than attack
He says it because he's describing when he changes into the Devilsknife (the cane looking things) in battle and when he transforms into the item you get when defeating him (the Devilsknife you see in the fight if you attack him, or the Jevilstail with which is the J-shaped tail he has on).
Genocide is easier, since you can skip a couple attacks. I did do a pacifist run first time around, but only decided to no hit this boss while doing a 2nd run through where I attacked everything.
@@bloby188 I found pacifist to be slightly easier, as the fight will generally be over after his final attack. In genocide you have to keep going until his HP is 0, which takes longer unless you're good at the game.
Whats so creepy about deltarune and undertale is that it look just like a pixel game but some things just look 3d modeld like jevil background and omega flowey, and alot of things have just really creepy backstorys.
Some attacks have misleading hurtboxes. The carousel attack is a good example. For this attack only the body of the projectile has a hurtbox. The head/legs will not hit you.
I alredy defeated jevil two times and when i did the second i was like : holy shit last timeit took me one week to kill this thingand now it only took 5 tries ...... Wtf ( I have beaten him in pacifist )
I recommend using kris piruette and defend with the rest, since when you use piruette in the 4 attack, since the piruette defend the gang. (I talk spanish, that's why i don't know how hell to write piruette)
I didn't have any sort of strat for that pattern, other than just hug the right wall and dodge. The hurt boxes for that pattern is deceiving though, as only the body hits you (the head/legs don't)

Unfortunately, the Genocide route doesn't exist properly in Deltarune's first chapter.
Me looking back at this from today who now knows the plot of both pacifist and snowgrave routes of chapter two

Spamton neo didn't seem to have any deceiving hitboxes. That's probably because most attacks were fairly standard shapes (circle, square, oval, etc)
