V1 will die when there is no blood left. the main protagonist and main antagonists fates are both abundantly clear, so i'm interested as to how they plan to make the final level have an interesting story. i love ultrakill, but i'll be a hell of a lot more impressed if hakita manages to make a level where we KNOW the ending interesting.

You’ve made me a better player as well by changing the way I think about the game; I haven’t considered using the environment to my advantage in the way you did. At the time of writing this comment this video has around 140 views which is just heresy, unspeakable, heresy. One small criticism, though. You used footage from custom levels which may give viewers the wrong picture of what is in the game and what isn’t.

This disconnection of the player from the actual main story of the game, alongside the realization of it, the realization that you aren´t the protagonist here, is one of the things that i love the most about ULTRAKILL. Btw, this video has unbelievable editing, good job man.
Here's a detail:in 2nd gabe fight, when he becomes un-enraged, his wings are not fully blue like during his first fight. They are slightly yellow. He knows what strength you have. He knows that you are a threat. But still, his pride blinds him.
I have 200 hours in ultrakill and had no fucking idea that parrying also restores your stamina. Also a cool thing:JumpStart cancels ferryman's lightning.
@@silvamlon teah. If he casts lightning and you launch a jumpstart cable into him, the lightning will explode inside him. This deals damage to every enemy near the explosion, does not do damage to you and the ferryman and also heals 10 hp
Absolutely amazing video. It makes me very happy to see someone talking about how interesting V1's role is within the world of ULTRAKILL. When playing the game it somehow makes you simultaneously feel like an unstoppable force ravaging everything in your path, while also making you feel like just another insignificant machine desperately clawing for the last drops of blood, almost like a junkie fighting over the last hit. Speaking of which, if I may be so bold I'd like to recommend another (unfinished) action packed game that I think has a very interesting world and incredible story called Katana Zero. It's not a fps but I think it might still be up your alley, probably. Either way I'd definitely like to see more content from you!
There's theory that the violence layer trees resserect those who've died within hell due to the way they work. I would be surprised if thats how V1 can go back and "replay" levels

Great video, really good editing, and I just love the way you described the gameplay and its method of rewarding experimentation. Now, in this whole video, I found what I think are 2 lore inaccuracies (Apologies if I just misinterpreted what you said), which would be: 1. There's more evidence in-game suggesting mankind's extinction was provoked by *something else* and not machines (I wont say it here, for more information, look up info on the P-2 ARG) 2. I understand this could've just been me understanding what you said wrong, but Hell isn't really shrinking. Machines are going down and killing everything in it, yes, but that doesn't mean Hell is being physically destroyed. Gabriel says "Limbo, Lust, all gone, with Gluttony soon to follow." And then right after that, says "Purged all life on the upper layers and yet they remain unsatiated.". I don't mean to upset you by doing this analysis, I mean, pretty much 99% of ULTRAKILL reviews on youtube have lore inaccuracies, even if minor. I just wanna spread around the story, cause I think it's really good! Also effectively describing V1 and Gabriel's relationship as doomed yaoi was awesome.
I'm glad you liked the video! All of your feedback is honestly valid, the reason why there were some lorr innacuracies is because the script was written monthe ago, before I was completely aware of the full lore of the game, still tho, im glad you liked everything else!

after act 21I kind of had an idea of where it would go, but after the act 2 plot twist, hakita could take this story anywhere really
