I think this is the first videos I’ve seen of yours. But right when you brought up the #1 seed stat, I knew it was from Pure Potential. I think he’s gonna get big if he continues making the same quality videos.
Definitely have some great tips here esp veteran trades, being on the waiver wire, and 1st round rookie picks, and . I’ll check out your stuff too. Keep it up 👍🏼
One piece of advice that makes the rewatching experience a ton better is to have the splits in the video in for when we’re looking for something in particular.
Thank you! Yes, Pure Potential is a fantastic channel! Appreciate the kind words!
Agreed that patience is a characteristic of successful dynasty players
Absolutely agree!
I’ve been playing dynasty for three years and only have two teams but based off what I’ve seen this is some really good advice.
Thank you! I appreciate the comment. More good stuff to come!
I disagree on the way I've seen people saying the 1st seed has "only" a 31% chance to win. Another way to read the stats is that the 1st seed has 4 TIMES the chance to win compared to the 6 seed. That data tells me it's incredibly important to go all in before week 1 to try and secure a bye if you're in a position to.
Yes, the best chance you have at winning a championship in Dynasty is by securing the No. 1 seed, but the point I was making in the video is that the best team in fantasy football doesn't always win. In fact, most of the time, they don't. I would suggest letting the season play out, and if you are in the position to land the No. 1 seed, it may be wise to go out and acquire a player to help you before your league's trade deadline. Generally speaking, it's best to let the season play out, see where you stand, and then make calculated moves to try and improve your team. Obviously, there are deals that are too good to pass up, but in general, I wouldn't recommend going "All In." Appreciate the comment and thank you!
