I would much rather have CJ over Lamar in a startup or really any league unless you’re looking to win this year. There is going to come a time this year next year maybe the year after where Lamar’s rushing completely falls off a cliff and then we’re stuck with a mediocre pocket passer. Stroud is a good quarterback, and a great passer. Lamar is a great athlete and a good passer. When Lamar loses that athleticism, it is going to have a notable negative impact on his value long-term but otherwise I agree that CJ is overvalued by the community.
Also, I agree with you on Higgins. I think he is Kenny G 2.0.

Yeah, I have to think that CJ Stroud is following the Joe Burrow career path, albeit Stroud had a ton more success early. The problem is the upside is always going to be limited because of his rushing floor, but there is no doubt he is among the safer assets to hold. My point in putting him on this list is you can likely get a player that I believe is more valuable plus an additional asset for Stroud right now. The price is that high. Yes, Higgins is among the league leaders to look great in shorts. Thanks for the comment!

@@sethdiewold If you were able to draft stroud in a rookie draft with a mid to late first I think you absolutely try to trade him for a king's ransom right now unless you're really stuck at QB. Or even tier down and bank picks. Something like Stroud for Goff plus a 25 first and maybe another young player or additional picks would be pretty appealing.

Don’t mind this video for redraft advice. Start up dynasty it doesn’t really make sense unless you’re worried about getting ROI immediately.

The point of this video was I don't see these players ascending much higher in the Dynasty rankings in the future, and therefore if you decide to cash in, you can likely get a really big return. Also, I'm not drafting them in Dynasty Startups because I believe the values on these players will go down. Thank you for commenting!

This video will not age well. Stroud has even more tools with Diggs and one of the best lines in the game.
