no hate at all here but surprising to see pacheco and wicks here, two guys that are being shouted from the top of mountains by other channels, interesting take and good insight on the contract and job security for pacheco
Disagree on the Wicks being the one to fade. Doubs is good at specific things, but basically is what he is already. Wicks came on in the back half of the year and showed an ability to fill multiple roles. Doubs may be the higher floor, but that floor is flex territory. Wicks has the ceiling that you want out of that range of guys.
Wicks is definitely more of a “hold” to me. Not sure I’m going to get a ton of value in return for him unless I find a VERY enthusiastic Wicks guy. Basically I need to find another me, because I am “enthusiastic Wicks guy” 😂
I'm very enthusiastic wicks guy. However I'm a Packers fan and I picked him up before everyone else after I saw him cook the bears DBs 2 different times week 1 even tho he wasnt targeted on those plays
Pacheco should score even more points if the Chiefs offense improves like projected to. He will have more red zone touches, and he will get more receiving work with McKinnon gone. I'd wait and sell him after his value gets higher.
Agree with Pacheco. Love his dawg mentality but this may be his peak. Rebuilding so I shopped him for 2025 (early to mid 1st most likely) and 2026 2nd. 2025 RBs are gonna be🔥.
I'm about to do an expansion draft in my 1QB Salary Cap dynasty league and Pacheco is on my radar because he's relatively high and relatively cheap ($3.25 salary, $150 salary cap, 22-man rosters)... should I target him, target him and try to trade him, or just avoid? Thanks!
Only thing with Pacheco is that he very easily could be a top 6 producing rb this year as Pacheco will get a bump in the pass game with no McKinnon. Pacheco averaged over 20+ ppg when McKinnon was out last year and I think that's what we can use to project for his production of this year
If that does happen and he does get more receiving work, you’re right his ceiling is much higher. For us we just think they’re going to use multiple backs like usual.
Depends on the scoring settings in your league but if it's a regular full ppr start 10 or 11 with no ppc, then being elite at QB and WR is much more important
Have you looked at the separation stats on Wicks. I heard they were better than JJ. & he was a rookie. Seems like he has the potential to be something. Sucks that he’s in such a crowded WR room, but I’m holding
I’m a big time Packers fan and imo doubs is going to be our #4. Watson and Wicks have the ability to become legit wr1. Wicks is a stud route runner, he finished 1st overall by pff in route win % vs man coverage. His release package is also top notch. Reminds a lot of us Packers fans of Adams. Long way to go to get there but you watch him off the line and at the top of routes you understand.
I would keep your qbs and wrs. Both qbs have qb1 upside depending on matchup and depending on whether or not deshaun can return to form which I believe he can. Your wrs are elite. Maybe try to trade higgins to someone who isn't aware of his situation with a t law or watson to get a top tier qb.
Stay away from the Steelers offense in general? You do realize who the OC there is now, yea? Arthur Smith always has, and always will prioritize the running game to an alarming degree. You can hate on Najee and Warren’s ‘talent’ all day long - but from a process standpoint - both are set up to have a significantly better season than 23. Both backs are pretty obvious sell candidates IN SEASON - not right now.
I agree, I’m not high on Najee at all. I like Warren a lot but both of these guys are going to have much better seasons under Arther Smith. If either of them go down with injury, the other becomes a top 15 RB immediately.
Love the Stroud Sell idea. Bold but logical. And sold Pacheco a month ago. Dont agree on Wicks at all - for his price now I'll take a chance that Wicks hits!
Rebuilding team - I am holding Wicks. Don’t feel like I could get the draft capital for him that I want. I also think he does have a lot of upside and draws so many comps to being the next Davante Adams.
Packer fan here. Love Wicks but it’s very crowded. I would find out/chat with some of the guys around the league and see who also likes him so you can trade off. Great ability and great tape but that doesn’t always equate to fantasy points. Hard to see them now spreading the ball around. Also I promise the packers will run more this year with that dynamic RB combo.
Hold Warren, anyone who watched him last year knows he is a difference maker. The Steelers are going to run the ball 500 times this year with Smith so he will have plenty of opportunity. And once Najee is gone next year which is likely, it's warrens backfield
We didn’t say that at all - nor did we imply it. The point was CEH got plenty of workload one year and the chiefs still turned away from him the next year despite him being in the same RB room.
Teams will replace these running backs at the drop of a hat. The only multi year safety an RB can have is recent high draft capital or guaranteed money. Pacheco has neither rb1 production nor long term security. Good point
I think the Wicks take isn’t going to age well. Thanks for the video! Let me add…I think you guys are driving the car looking out of the rear view mirror too much on this one.
You can say Dontayvion Wicks is a sell, that’s fine. But I at least want you guys to acknowledge why people think he is a buy instead of listing counting stats. The belief is that his advanced metrics (YPRR, first down numbers) are good enough that he will outshine the others in the room over time.

I agree... Same with Reed. Doubs seems to be the go-to guy am I wrong? It's kind of like DK on the Seahawks a few years ago when lockett was still clearly the guy.
Some of the more important metrics don’t exactly favour Doubs. He was the worst packer WR in yards per route run while Reed and Wicks were ranked 27th and 24th in the NFL Him leading the team in targets yet only having 10.26 points per game in PPR is exactly why people want the other WR’s over him. If Reed had less snaps and targets yet scored more points on the season by 40 and that was in 1 less game, why would you want Doubs
dont you disrespect my glorious king, Isiah Pacheco. value gonna go up with mckinnon gone he will get more receiving work. They only relied on him more as the season progressed last year
Ooh that’s tough. I understand the want for a guy like Allen, but he has some big time hesitations in a 6pt league imo. 1. Runs a lot: positive for production, but not as much of a boost in 6pt ptd. Also, leads to more injuries. 2. Lost Diggs and Davis: only returning cornerstone receiver is Kincaid, and that criminally hurts his upside in 6pt 3. James cook has begun to command more work in the red zone, and Allen will likely not score as many tds this coming season. Final thoughts: CJ improved week to week, and now has Diggs alongside Nico(absolute stud) and Dell(also a stud). In a 6pt league, CJ is in a veeeery good spot and will likely take another step forward this year. Plus, Young is also in an improved offense this year and is likely to get you more than “throw in” value in a future deal. I definitely understand the move based on your team’s ability to compete, but it’s a lot to give for Allen in a 6pt.
@@gersonsantos8874 kinda hard to say for sure. Keon is a high risk long term play with big upside, and Diggs hasn’t played a snap for the Texans yet so that situation is also pretty hard to evaluate. Plus, he’s essentially on a one year contract. I’d probably still take Diggs and the 2nd though. Especially if the 2nd is from a non contending team. For rookie receivers, I always watch what Steve Smith has to say. In the case of Keon, SS wasn’t too big on him, and the only thing really going for him is lack of competition and draft capital. Hes young so he can still develop, but there are way too many areas that he needs to improve on for me to feel comfortable with him as a starter on a contending team during the first few weeks of the season.

The cutoff after Nathan starts talking about who is ranked near Warren. Priceless.

I’m keeping stroud…..I’ll take a future 10x pro bowl qb and potential future hall of fame qb.
I dropped the ball on a trade. I was offered Hurts & Stevenson for Stroud
But the low ceiling tho? If you play in a 6 pt passing td then I’d hold. But statue qbs are inherently capped in value.
Everyone said the same thing about Baker after his rookie year
Nowhere did baker look like stroud for the entire duration of his rookie season….well if you watched lol
