Well, glad that I watched this video before I got too carried away 😅 This is my first year of dynasty fantasy football. I’ve done normal fantasy football leagues for years now, but dynasties are all new to me. I have a young team. I drafted young proven guys like Sam Laporta, Jordan Love, Rachaad White, Kenneth Walker, etc… and I I drafted guys like Marvin Harrison and Ladd McConkey, and just traded for Brian Thomas. I’m gonna sit and hold who I currently have, and not make any more moves until I get a gage on how my young team looks the first part of the season. Thanks for this video y’all, I needed a video like this!
Don't trade your rookies mid season, most of the time the rookie breakouts happen in the back half of the year. Unless a rookie absolutely bombs like QJ there is almost always a narrative for any rookie that gets first team snaps where they hold value or go up. I have seen countless teams draft somebody, trade them mid season then they breakout. These teams always end up staying in the middle, you want to be either the top or the bottom. High rookie draft pick WRs rarely lose a ton of value. Get out in the off-season when hype trains get out of control.
Yeah, I did a start-up a month or so ago and ended up with X. Worthy, L. McConkey, B. Bowers, J. Polk, B. Nix, J. McCarthy, A. Estime, R. Wilson, and T. Tracy. I know it's risky but I just can't bring myself to get rid of any of them. Luckily, three can be offed to Taxi.
It's like solving the DaVinci Code to figure out how to get just a blueprint without a membership. I have also already been a flock member in the past so that seems to complicate things.
Majority of the time I trade away my 1st rounder if I’m in the later half of the draft. This has led me to win a very competitive league 2 years in a row and still have lots of young talent.
Nathan and Avery, you guys are goated but I am very curious (I’m sure others are) how many times have u guys won your leagues? Would be an interesting video maybe to go over all few of your teams and explain where youre at with them and how many times you’ve won it in each league
For one roster I took MHJR in the 1st Bo Nix, Penix JR, Ladd, Polk in the 2nd McCaffery and All in the 4th May have too many rookies but the value I was getting was too good to pass up Rather hold and wait n see imo
Zamir White was a good long term investment. You can’t bail on guys after a rookie year and I don’t know anyone that draft Zamir in the first round. He reminds me of what will happen to Kendre Miller
I guess I might have made some mistakes rookies on my only dynasty roster Marvin Harrison Malik Nabers Ladd McConkey Caleb Williams Jermaine Burton Austin Estime Marshawn Lloyd Ray Davis Ben Sinnot 😅
I had 6 first round picks not sf and drafted marv Malik Rome bowers Ladd and Keon along side others I drafted in the 2nd and 3rd round. I had a lot of depth so I traded malik nabers Pickens polk and Pacheco with a 3rd and got Justin Jefferson kamara and Amari cooper. Then I traded Keon Coleman and a 2026 3rd for Kupp and a 2025 3rd then I traded Kupp and cooper for tyreek hill now I’m projected to win the league with still a lot of depth like Rome Ladd zay flowers and others
I disagree with this especially for Rb due to rb prime being so short it's good to have alot of youth at rb to replace your starters coming up or for injury replacement boom potential point and case J Ford last year

Great job with the content, its a slow time during this season until training camp/preseason and you were able to come up with an original creative topic, nice work 👏🐐🔥🔥🔥
What rookies you trading: QBs Caleb, Maye penix, rattler RBs brooks, benson,Bucky, Tracey WRs Polk, McMillan, cowing, Washington Tes bowers, sanders, Stover, All Have breece hall rashee rice Jsn and roschon and Daniel jones , 4 first next year and 2 seconds for 2025 very bullish on the wr class, hoping to snag at least 2 WRs early in the first next year and maybe grab another good another rb for 2025 if I move some rookie RBs or picks…. Thoughts?
As an investor I will object to the diversification metaphor. I know that diversification is popular, but it's really selling winners to buy losers. When apple came out with the iPhone was it wise to sell off Apple when it went from 1 to 100 a share and buy up Nokia and BlackBerry? Hell no. Apple went to 1000 a share and the others went to sh*t. Diversificatuon is for when you have no conviction. But if your asset is disrupting and the clear winner for example, then you buy it and do not let go until it's no longer disrupting.
As an individual with a degree in actuarial science, there really is no argument that diversification mathematically decreases measurable risk. This is a very basic statistical principle that I think most even with basic mathematical literacy can understand. And that’s the point of the metaphor. Whether or not you are aggressive or conservative with investing is all preference, but you don’t see people investing 75% of their retirement money into tech startups right? The dynasty equivalent of this is investing into only dart throw rookies, which isn’t smart at all. Also - using Apple in retrospect to prove your point is probably not applicable. Hindsight is 20/20, obviously. You could use the same argument for any failed tech startup and I could use that logic against you, but had you diversified in an established Apple you’d still have a great ROI. Again- main point is diversification decreases risk. Thats not opinion, it’s proven statistics. Whether or not you want to be risky is completely up to you.
@@thedynastydomain of course diversification reduces risk, but that doesn't mean it's automatically a good thing to be pursued for it's own sake. You want the max reward per unit of risk, and watering down performance seeking risk reduction is counterproductive in investing. It may well work out wonderfully in dynasty. I'll defer to your expertise here. But commonly, passive investors will contribute to the s&p500 for diversification but the top 7 performers are responsible for the gains of the fund and the other 493 are losers. So I'm doubling down. Diversificatuon may be a trait to pursue in dynasty, but for investing it only serves those who don't know any better. To bring it back to drafting, if you haven't down any research and don't know who to pick them you should probably just draft sorting by ADP. That's like buying index funds with the most popular stocks in it. But if you make informed stock pick decisions then diversified just means replacing allocations you really believe in with assets of lesser conviction. Love the channel btw. Helping me a bunch with my first dynasty league. In the middle of our startup now.
My rookie draft is tomorrow Looking to trade for Josh down is 2 seconds too much or would it be worth it? One would be 2.13 this year and a 2025 2nd. Should I try to go for a 2 and a 3?

Nobody in the NFL is younger than me quite yet. Maybe Braelon Allen
When my team review moves to “in progress” and this video is released immediately 😂😂 I feel called out
lolol
I've got a start-up team with 24/27 being rookies and I love it.
I really needed this🤣🤣, was about to draft an all rookie team!!
