      I think I may have to do a third rebuild to try and get somewhere with the gearbox leak!

    Great video, thanks for posting. Did you check the end float on the mainshaft when you had fitted the inner timing cover? Video only showed you moving the shaft with no inner timing cover and I don't think that would give a true indication. I had the opposite issue you had, in that my main shaft nipped up when I fitted the inner cover and tightened it. took me ages to figure out the top gear cog was not fully home in the case!

      Hello David thank you for your comment and help. I did have the inner timing cover on and bolted down otherwise there would be infinite endfloat! I am trying to keep these films short so don't show everything and I feel this one is too long. I actually miss out important things I should show as I forget to film once I get working. I hope you will be able to enjoy your C15 now Spring is coming and after its rebuild. I had noticed in Facebook the problem you had with the thrust washer. I could do with an even thicker one! I may need to replace the bush on the inner timing cover on the next rebuild. Thanks for your support.
