- Join me for a little at home bike teardown session. Everything went way better than it usually does. Even with the rust water. Very exited to get some parts on this bike! what do you think belongs on here?
Thanks for watching!
it like the bike farmer only younger ;) the same bob ross sound - i love it - and i can feel your love for bikes :)
Great video! The lighting in your place is fine, nothing wrong with it and no one cares about fancy RUclips influencer sets anyway. Keep it raw, it's radder that way. I'm trying to get into bike building as well and your videos help a me ton with realizing I can just get on with it. Another point, there is no detail or step filmed that is wasted. I always think that every little bit of information helps but maybe it's because I overanalyse things all the time. Thanks for putting these out and I am really considering also jumping on the budget build when that gets started. Cheers!
@@latepier I appreciate your viewpoint, I think I just overthink trying to make every video better than the last ya know?
@@mull3tmechanic I totally understand but you don't have to start overdoing it either. Your setup is pretty good right now and sure there are some creases that can be ironed out but don't go too overboard with trying to keep up with what other people are doing. You already have something unique going on with your channel just by doing you. Looking forward to the next videos for sure!
@ 🤝🤝 thanks man
Fun watch on this cold Sunday morning
thanks mickey
Tools! Flea markets are amazing for getting tons of old good-quality tools like allen wrenches, socket sets, pliers, crescent wrenches, and such. Also yeah definitely ask your local bike shop to order the specialty tools you need used, they’ve always been super chill
100%, good quality second hand tools are way better than cheap new tools.
The all black looks sleek AF. I could've just swapped the bars for something better and rode it. Look forward to seeing what it becomes Max 😁
I am so glad to hear that you think it’s OK to ask for mechanic help mid-build. I often hit an issue that is over my head. I suck, for instance, at front derailleurs.
I have PLENTY of tools. Still, I have a frame I bought to build up for an employee. I can’t get the dang BB out. It is SO seized.
@@peterbaskind9872 absolutly go by your local bike shop, we are always here to help when you get stuck.
Huge specialized fan ..I've done a few Rockhoppers, stumpjumper I've rebuilt, and one S works. I need to get back on the road
..love the frame!…hope there is no more water in it…stoked to see the result..💜
@@EBDultras I'm going to pull the bb soon so hopefully the tubing is not filled haha
More cool bikes and more dystopia please
Epic new beginning 👌🏻👍🏻
love the show! And love these old bikes have to many my self. Is the cheap bike build for youtubers also or just instagramers? And don't matter where you film.
Its for everyone! All the details will be announced on the 1st of February.
Never been a fan of black frames, but by coincidence I currently find myself building up a single speed KHS Montana town cruiser with all black period components, although it does have a nice blue flake in the paint.
BTW, that is possibly the most innuendo heavy video I've heard in ages! The audio when you are pulling the cranks is something else😂😂😂
@@KitVonRadical 😂😂
If you close your eyes you can almost visualize it happening. "Oh she's coming." 😂
Shop is nice but home is better. I just finished a Raleigh Rocky with compact Sugino crank 24x38 and loving it in the snow of Montreal. Thanks for the inspiration
@@steeveblain3759 shout out to MTL!
Bike stand is pretty necessary, honestly.
Its really nice to have but I learned to work on bikes long before I had one, you really can start anywhere!
the bike on the shelf is a ross hi tech
Fuck yeah, do a gold chain
Hey, have a few plans for the cheap bike challenge, but want to see the rules first!
