- Tom Stevens, CEO of Tombot, joined us at CES last month to share Clifford, Tombot's first major milestone on the path to a commercially viable product. This cute buddy is a complex robotic system that mimics dog behavior to bring joy and health benefits to those who cannot safely or practically care for a live animal companion.
The red dog is the prototype. IT HAS NO FUR COVER ON IT YET. Certainly the finished product will have a synthetic fur covering.
Children with Autism would benefit from this therapy pet also!!

I think that the red colour of this robot makes it looks likd a skinned dog. Creepy! Of course the previous version was much better. It it would be easier to create a bald dogs choose a more natural colour as a beige or grey instead of this bloody red. Btw don't you want create a cat version of a fury dog of yours? Hyperrealistic, interactive and fluffy cat? 😽

I am on the waiting list for Jenny does this mean Clifford will replace Jenny and when would you be sending them out I am in Australia.
Very exciting to hear! Clifford was the prototype for Jennie, so Jennie will still be the puppy you receive. We're not aware of Tombot's current release date, but we are looking forward to it.

Awful, no fur! And the original Jennie was much better for seniors!
