First mean harsh comment: "So. Where is the Pimax 12K QLED, did 'that' get a 'public' showing? Why not?" Wondering why those sales aren't quite as fast... people who were waiting now have a bunch of options available that didn't exist when Crystal & Portal+View weren't released yet. Just saying.
Please just at least detail it and explain that thing at the end of the Pimax 12K QLED Frontier event, Pimax Fixed Retina Display.
Maybe the 12K isn't coming this year either I kind of hope that sales of crystal won't damage the possibility of 12k coming out.
Because, dear Pimax, you chose to sidestep/abandon your wide field of view market (where you had effectively no competition) in order to directly compete with varjo aero with the Crystal? Shrug! Surely those that care about clarity and have big budgets already bought the varjo, and those that care about fov didn't. So now you try to sell crystal to who? The varjo people who already had one? Or the pimaxians who didn't buy varjo because they still want large fov? It's kind of confusing to me!
I still hope 12K QLED is coming out!

The 12k WAS shown at this show. It was just in that tent for special invitation only. For the one post that I read (that probably wasn't supposed to be posted) they said it was incredible. You could see details in Aircar like headlight details on cars from across the city. So it's definitely coming...
@@CorporateZombi The crystal is much better than the Varjo, so people want the best. The crystal is the best right now, so that's who it's for.
@@justaguydoinstuff Some technology demonstrators were shown. Not actually the 12K. They did not have the wide FOV of the 12K.
12K requires 5090 with DP v2.1 to handle the bandwidth. Without the GPU with the link it's meaningless to present the device to people.
Why is there a cable coming out of the wireless units?
That goes to a batter bank, not needed in the final version but seemed necessary in this prototype (or maybe just to keep the headset charged more easily so people could keep trying ar CES, not sure which).

Looks great! I’m really excited to see more about the upcoming 12K. It’s really hard to contemplate giving up the wide FoV of my brilliant 8KX, but auto IPD and dynamic foveated rendering as well as mini-LED contrast are very appealing.
Please, what is the situation with the wide fov lenses? Are they released or not?
Can you do "cut outs" for things like button boxes? That is the only thing keeping me from ditching monitors and going full VR on my sim rig.

yeah pimax is great until you own one, then it becomes an expensive door stop, while you buy a quest 3 for a fraction of the price.
why is the pimax crystal so wide when it only got normal FOV like other headsets? is is because they think people wants to look like a hammer shark?
This is because the Crystal is only the first HMD of the Reality series platform sharing the same form factor. The 12K QLED will have 2 x 6K panels for a much bigger FOV which need space.
It's cause it's Chinese company and they save costs on recycling components

I WOULD NOT PURCASE again!! Change the name to Pimax Crap!
Apparently Pimax takes real good care of RUclipsrs by sending them free stuff to review to boost sales. Meanwhile they are slow as molasses at fulfilling promises made to PAYING customers. Thee Pimax Crystal is an overpriced by about $1000, By time you pay for the upgraded speakers, Top Strap, Big FOV lenses etc. the price is upwards of $2,000. All those accessories should come free at the ridiculous price of this large hunk of plastic. I bought my Crystal in November 2023, they promised the comfort top strap with the purchase. I wrote their support team...twice now since the purchase and still no head strap, no Big FOV lenses no upgraded DMAS speakers. Then you charge $99 for the upgraded speakers that aren't actually ever in stock to buy but yet you send all your favorite RUclipsrs all these products for. I WOULD NOT PURCASE again!! Change the name to Pimax Crap!
WHY in the name of VR will PIMAX NOT DITCH the BATTERY for a PC ONLY headset? MY WORD I have a HP G2 and I will NOT buy a headset to replace it that you MUST use a Battery or Tracking units hanging on the walls. Get rid of the BATTERY CUT the PRICE and Sale 4 Million PC only Headsets for Crying out loud FORGET the STUPID COLLAGE BOY Engineers and take a TIP from GAMERS for VR Sake. The FIRST Company that does this will get my Money. I will NOT pay 4g's for a VR head set SO LETS GO BRANDON PIMAX DUMP THE BATTERY CUT THE PRICE PC ONLY.

Like, it's annoying as hell people like you act like you speak for everyone. No one wants cords anymore. If the headset is insane that's all that matters. Your precious g2 got slammed by a quest 3 and it's a little cheaper then the g2. If you want something go buy a big screen beyond that headset is nuts

I don't know Why I'm holding on to the HP G2 still. So thanks to you I just ordered a Varjo XR4. I went to your RUclips Page to see if I could make it up to you and Buying one for you too.
