I had to correct the officiant at our wedding because he lost his spot in his notes, and my (also Italian) hubby was crying so hard he had to keep taking breaks during his vows and saying "hold on, there's more" "just a second, I can do this" lol. I didn't realize that rain on your wedding day is good luck in Italian culture. We had a big rain storm the day of our wedding (during the night, our outdoor ceremony was perfect despite the weather forecast saying it was supposed to rain all day) and my husband snuck out while I was asleep to collect it and gift it to me for luck. Were there any traditions or superstitions you guys had for your big day? Sarah I would love to know where you found that dress, you should have a side hustle as a model.
