Manitoba Walleye Opener ( Casting Jigs and Plastics)

Walleye fishing in Manitoba is very different this year.. Walleye are protected by new Regulations that were put into affect this spring. Dates, limits, regions and size limits are in place to better protect Manitobans favourite fish. This past weekend was the opener, I took full advantage of my opportunities. I went looking for a sweet shore bite where I could fish my favourite way, Jigs and Plastics. Watch as I search for hungry aggressive walleye, and get rewarded with some beautiful EYE's.
