I traveled my way across Manitoba in search for some really nice sized Manitoba walleye fishing at lake of the prairies ! Lake of the prairies in renown for excellent numbers of large sized walleye! despite the water clarity and the bloom of algae from the crazy hot weather our province has been experiencing it was an amazing day full of great Manitoba walleye and more importantly a great time! I go through some walleye fishing tips and techniques that always help me put walleye in the boat. specific jig setup I like to use, stinger hooks and why i use them. Specific grubs and how to hook your bait. water depth and where to fish for walleye looking at structure underneath the surface as well analyzing the the land itself and how that can play into effect when looking for the right area that will hold Manitoba walleye. if you have never been to lake of the prairies for walleye fishing I would highly recommended it is an excellent place to be for amazing fishing and create some memories you wont forget.

Legit if you ever get out this way message me would be so sick to link. Tons of trophy trout lake close by to lotp as well. Twin lakes for trophy tiger trout. Patterson for browns. And the blue lakes in the duck mountains.

My cherrywood is a 7 foot medium but its got lots of backbone. I've caught little saugers at Lockport with it, Salmon in Lake Superior, Master Angler Catfish and even that 4 foot muskie I got last summer. The Cherrywood brought it in no problem!
One day I would love to fish over there. I spent most of my time in Manitoba close to the wife's family so Winnipeg or The Pas. I did fish a couple great trout lakes when I was up north 2 winters ago. Footprint and Barbe. Cheers!
