    New follower. New powerstroke owner...
Do I need a disaster prevention kit for the cp4.
    It's a 2024 f350 standard output

@@jjames5928 just use fuel additives such as hotshot secret to lubricate pump. Much cheaper and if you bought truck new you can be confident it was done right from the beginning

Thanks for following! Yes I would. You never know what you’re getting for fuel. Do the disaster prevention kit and run a diesel fuel additive at every fill up

I just got my test back from speed diagnostix. In October I switched to amsoil and I have 4% fuel dilution. Every test before I used motocraft full synthetic. So I hope you get some answers and share them. I'm going to make a few calls tomorrow. I'm at 29k on my truck. Have you changed your CCV filter?

Interesting. Fuel dilution could also be from bio diesel blends if you use any. And whats a CCV filter? 😉

@@powerstrokemaintenance crank case vent filter. Some years have a serviceable filter, some don’t. I don’t know which years is which but a clogged ccv filter is what a lot of people say the cause of oil leaks on the 6.7 are from. Crank case vent gets clogged, air inside the motor needs somewhere to go and it creates a small leak in a seal and you end up with an oil leak.
