  • Kaki King shows you how to install the passerelle.
The passerelle is a bridge that turns any regular six string guitar into a twelve note instrument that can produce sounds reminiscent of the Japanese koto or the Chinese guzheng.

I just found this; you got me -- I'm fascinated! I was watching a video by, I think, Mojo or something about the top 10 female guitarists and you were on it. I've been playing 43 years myself but I mean, wow! Thank you for this tutorial!

Good tutorial. Gorgeous nails, love them.
To be honest, I was expecting some kind of demonstration with the passerelle, but thanks for the video.

Love the nails! I've seen other guitar players do that too. Do you have any videos that talk about this? Thanks!

Hey, Kaki! I just bought this, and I was wondering what become of the tuning when you insert the passerelle bridge on a regularly tuned guitar (EADGBe)? Do boths sides get the same notes?
Do you have any more info on this I can access?
    THANKS!

Just bought one! Question: Would this work better on a nylon string or steel string guitar? Your thoughts? Thanks!!!!!!!!!

I've made a DIY version of the passerelle, can you tell notes you tune to after the passerelle is attached?
Feel free to check out my demo of the DIY passerelle!
Thanks, love your music, keep doing what you do, happy women's day!
