@@hoya1178 I've mentioned it in a few other channels of people reacting to Stranger Things about Steve and the nailbat and how you can always feel safe for Steve if he has it, but Plot Armor is not a bad name for the bat.
I binged seasons 1,2, and 3 and then made my wife watch them too a while before S4 came out, and we watched S4 together. When, on my rewatch and her first watch I saw Nancy with the bat in the garage testing it out and Johnathan showed, it clicked and I started laughing and called it Steve's bat. She thought I meant that Nancy was stealing Steve's bat, and I laughed and told her it will make sense later. If there is ever an action figure toy of Steve made from this show, he MUST have that bat.
Stepdad Steve has acquired his five pints now. Stepdad Steve is safe.
The actress who plays Nancy and the actor who plays Jonathan got together in season 1 and are still together now. They are so cute together.
How adorable is Stevie G? From the moment Steve swung that bat, we all vowed to protect him at all costs!!

Welcome to the world of Steve, literally the best character in the entire show.
Jonathan has always been so responsible. He grew up too fast and takes care of his family. I love his character.
He should be a weirdo artist, not being an adult for most of his childhood.
Oh, so that's what happened to me-
He is one of my least favorite characters. I understand why he is broken, but it doesn't make his inability to apologize or take responsibility for his actions less annoying.
@@bibliophilelady6106 that's okay. Not everyone likes all the characters. I respect that.
I love how they not only came together but that they all were equals. The adults didn't treat the kids like dumb kids but took them seriously and came up with a plan as a group. It's also awesome how Nancy and Jonathan at the house and the kids at the school were essentially keeping the monsters occupied elsewhere so Hopp and Joyce were able to go undetected in the upside down for so long. It's really excellent writing. And Steve, I mean, that bat swing is legendary at this point. His character arc is pure perfection and feels organic.
Hopper's scene where he's resuscitating Will is such a good scene. Just imagine, he lost his daughter to a sickness he couldn't do anything about, how hopeless he must've felt watching as the doctors scrambled to revive her without any success.
You see it in him, the toll it took from the very start, unexplained until you hear the first mention that he lost his daughter from his partner. And then, in that moment he kept trying and trying, because he didn't want someone else to go through the same and he could maybe do something about unlike with his daughter. That scene is probably one of my favorites from S1.
Everyone get’s emotional when they watch Stranger Things for the first time and that just shows how much of a good show it is , it has a lot of amazing well acted emotional moments , and spooky moments of course.

I love it when you find Steve's place as the warrior in the party. It's the main thing he's great at.

Hopper can’t save both kids and he knows that. Will can’t defend himself and Eleven can. She’s been evading them so far. So Hop has to make a Faustian bargain for a shot at getting Will.

The cute parallel that you might remember is when the fellowship sees Frodo for the first time in Rivendell at the end of Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. The kids did the same thing in the hospital. It’s a nice little thing they threw in since the kids love the story so much.
The teaser for Season 2 ughhhhh even if ppl don’t like it as much the hype around it really was special 😢

Hopper got into the government car, he's now a security concern but also has an agreement with them. And Hopper left Eggos in the box in the woods. Now where have we seen Eggos before in the show?

Does anyone (meaning Joyce, the boys, Eleven herself) ever find out that Hopper essentially traded Eleven for Will? He told Brenner she'd be at the school in exchange for permission to enter the gate to the Upside Down. Given what's coming in S2 it's especially relevant. That said, Will and El were set up as a pair from the start: El appears when Will disappears, each of them is particularly attached to Mike, he doesn't have a dad while she doesn't have a mom...cannot WAIT to see how it all resolves in S5.
In Season 2, Noah Schnapp does some of the best CHILD ACTING of all time.

@@KelpyG. **SPOILERS** First of all, your comment contains a spoiler for the series for anyone who hasn't gotten through Season 4, since you just told them Will is still around for Season 5. Now they don't have to worry about him dying in Seasons 2 through 4. Secondly, Season 5 is the final season, so I doubt he gets "killed off early on." He'll probably be key to defeating the villain because of his connection to the Upside-Down since the end of Season 1.

So the slingshot bit is a homage to Stephen King's IT. Yeah the way they blend both past Hopper backstory with his kid and then presently trying to find Will throughout this season and then NOT letting him die the way his Daughter did (In a metaphorical way) is just such great writing.

The first scene I ever saw was El destroying the demogorgan when getting ready for morning practice at 4 am because my sister stayed up to binge the show - she asked why I was up so late and thought I was lying. She was also supposed to drive that morning lmao

This is such a surprisingly good series, and it only gets better as time goes on. I was fortunate enough to get to meet (Millie Bobbie Brown - Eleven) and (David Harbour - Jim Hopper) when the show was just started to get popular. Everyone evolves so much as the seasons progress, hope you enjoy the ride.

this final made me feel like i was on a rollercoaster thing is when i watch it for the first time Stranger things wasn't a big thing yet and i thought they couldn't top this ending but they did it every seasons .. one thing good with Stranger things it's the fact that he get better every seasons

Honestly I liked some things in season 2 but S1 is far better IMO. Especially the ending...now that I'm watching this one again, with Eleven screaming in slow motion while the monster disintegrates...sound familiar? Too much of a rehash just with More Stuff in season 2. (Again, some good things too, don't get me wrong.)

I think we figure it out pretty quick haha, but yeah it was funny putting it that way for an American show. Then again Millie is British so maybe her learning the phrase would somehow filter through, her character has psychic powers after all...
The food being left IS meant for 11- the Eggo waffles are the clue. The men that get Harper into the car are government men… part of what Hopper agreed to in order to get Will out alive. That was part of the ‘deal’ he made. What they wanted…. ?? 😉 This entire series is EXCELLENT! You have so many episodes to look forward to😊
For real though I do not remember anything at all about why he needed to get back in a car with them. Just to debrief him? Was there anything else? I assume he only found signs Eleven was alive afterward so I doubt it was about that? I'm current with the series so feel free to spoil me if there's anything I'm forgetting haha.
No spoilers here😊 Such an amazing series… I’m making an assumption based on Hopper’s conversation with Papa’s ‘agents’ when he was being held. The only way Hop & Joyce were getting out of there was if Hop made a deal- he gave up where 11 & the kids were & I’m assuming also agreed to ‘forget what happened’ or keep things under wraps. That’s what got them to Will. Papa also made an off handed comment that implied he thought Hop & Joyce would never get out alive. Since Will, Joyce & Hop lived, another assumption is that Hop was then used to cover things up- had meetings with the men as necessary.
SPOILERS BELOW SPOILERS BELOW- TURN BACK NOW!!
My other thought- since 11 ends up with Hopper in season 2- is that perhaps the government men wanted help to find her. Hopper leaves food… but then keeps her safe when she resurfaces. Because Hopper rocks! Those are my thoughts anyway.

Steve is the best! I always thought maybe he and Jonathan were friends as kids since they both live out in the middle of nowhere. Nobody in town seems to have a bad opinion of Lonnie, but that is the first place he went when he picked on him (a screw-up like your dad) because he saw the Byers' marriage fall apart. And then Jonathan probably pushed him away after the divorce. But he knows how close Jonathan is with Will, so he came to his house to apologize for going too far, even though Jonathan kicked his ass.
This show gets better each season. Hannah’s heart is gonna explode. 😁❤️💀👹
