    Could watch your videos all day 😂. Would be interesting for you to say how much each repair costs Vs cost of new tool.

    SJS recons are cheap and plentiful out here. Knuckleheads lean into it, engage the slip clutch, and keep on leaning. Effectively grinding a grinder.

    Thanks for sharing, I have to take mine apart and see what’s up with it. Running fine up to speed but stops under load. Any suggestions what to look out for? I’m a sparks by trade and have repaired/maintained several of my Makita tools over the years so I’m not entirely new to the work

    Hi, got an SG1250 with burnt motor and field. Priced up but find I can get a new 9565 for less than parts cost. Emailed makita uk and they say both grinders run at different soeeds so cannot be used in place of. Cannot the speed controller off the SG be used on the 9565 to solve this. Anybody got any thoughts on this? Checked part numbers and fields the same but armature different number. Thanks
