Hey, I live about 50 minutes away from Wolf Knob. I played the course when it first opened and it was rough. It looked great, even with the harsh conditions. Great content, was nice to see a local course on the channel. There is a reservoir and some state parks not far from the course that offer additional activities near by. There is ball golf, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, horse back riding and hiking all within 15 minutes of the course and cabins. Bourbon trails are nearby if that interests you as well. Rock River Ranch is a private course nearby that is a great course as well and there are a lot of public courses in and around Bowling Green, KY 45 minutes away.
Kentucky weather is wild. All within a week we'll have snow storms and temps 10-70 degrees. I've played in somewhat windy weather but nothing super crazy. Happy Thanksgiving
Awesome video and place! I've stayed and played it the last couple years for a weekend! It's very challenging and well maintained. I enjoyed watching your video and can't wait to lose a few this year at wolf knob lol
@tossingplastic I'm pretty sure I woke something up at that cave the first time I played it a couple years ago. I've never heard a sound quite like it.
Just an FYI, this is an intentional recreational course, with lots and lots of short holes. They are actively building out a true championship level course that will hopefully attract the Tour to another stop in Ky. What ive seen so far, and knowing who's behind the design, this will be an exceptional course and play very difficult. Excited to see it finished in a few years
You'll have to check out otter Creek at some point while in Kentucky. The og 18 is an original steady ed design! Also if you ever in Louisville filming and needs a guide holler!
Mammoth Cave is an amazing area. I'll have to go out that way again to see some caves and play some disc golf. I think it's about 3 hours away from me here in Lexington
As a Kansas City golfer, we do have windy days but it’s typically on certain courses. I’ll admit, emporia tends to be its own animal, but it’s really not consistently windy. They have their crazy days tho, typically during GBO/DDO spring time
Holy S%&* Craig's back! Blueberry Shrimp? Can't wait to here how life has been treating him over the summer. "And so it begins". Couldn't stop laughing for a minute. Sorry, but at your expense. Safe travels Hunter. Looking forward to some great vids on these, gets dark to early, nights.
What a day! You must have been beat after that round. Thanks for the course tour. Those cabins look really enticing. By the way, have you ever played on the high plains of Texas? Well let me tell you, the wind....
@tossingplastic 😂 Yeah, the Texas High Plains might be too much of a shock coming from The Mitten. However, the winter climate in the Hill Country, the Gulf Coast, and the Piney Woods would be right up your alley.
Nice shooting, birdies in KY, booyah! I’d imagine it similar, but what are the low ceiling challenges on a backhand throw? As a forehander I have to remember to ‘tip the tea kettle and pour it out’. I use my torso like a mitre gauge and adjust with wrist/release angle. AKA, I Sarah Holkom that shizzle. What do you do? Happy Turkey Day Homie
Thank you! Hope you had an enjoyable one as well! For low ceilings I usually disc up in speed and go with a low flip up. Won't be in the air long so I feel a faster disc is a better choice!
As a viewer I think it would be nice to see you have a goal to hit and try to meet or beat your goal. We understand it’s difficult to set a goal for playing rounds for the first time. But it’d still be nice as a viewer to follow. Also either saying your score or putting it on the screen helps. Just a suggestion… still will watch either way. Much love
This comment is for all to …… just ponder Air is more dense when both colder and closer to sea level, and dryer. (like during a snow) Air Density = P / (R * T)
@16:48 looks like the rock the guys slept under in “Without a Paddle”
I knew when I saw it, there was a scene stuck in my head but could not remember what it was and I think you nailed it!

@@stevensawyer7026 yea seems like an amazing place to live! Kentucky has always been my favorite state to visit!
I was shocked to see on the map how many courses are around Bowling Green. Looks like a little disc golf mecca. Lol
Craig returns! I’m fascinated to see what shenanigans that guys going to get into 🤔
I kept quiet on the comments this summer, wanting to avoid hexes and all.
Take er’ easy Craig.
(Obviously said in a Sam Elliot tone)
Like a comment I remember reading a while back "Craig's a liability" 😅 that was when he shocked himself on an electric fence
Picked the right time to head south buddy! Hope to see you back up here soon 👊
Its a cold week south, turns out!

4:19 yes. Kansas is that windy.
My max is 35 sustained 50 gust in Indiana. It was just hilarious honestly
Yea sometimes you just have to give up and accept it lol
Best hole nine break!
Gotta love those little invisible branches this time of year.😂
They drive me nuts haha
@tossingplastic Same

It's great to see a course built just for fun. Both types definitely have their place!
ayyyee i was out here earlier this year throwing plastic for a kentucky tourism video! the amount of leaves on the ground is anxiety inducing
also they are developing a pro level course out on the back part of the property
Yea he was telling me about the big course! Sounds intense! I was very thankful I didn't have to look for any filming that course!
You'll have to check out otter Creek at some point while in Kentucky. The og 18 is an original steady ed design! Also if you ever in Louisville filming and needs a guide holler!
I could only imagine what that course would look like fully leafed out in the summer
Probably a big difference!

Thank you! I hope the travels go decent as well haha! The legend himself is back!
I just made my first Ace so far with an Exodus! It can get a baby hyzer flip with enough juice, feels like a "fun line" Teebird. Be safe on the road!
Congratulations on your first ace!
@@tossingplastic thank you so much, dude!! :)

Thank you for that thought! I have gone back and forth quite a bit on implementing scores or not! It's something I dont like but I know viewers would!

Air Density = P / (R * T)
Interesting! Yea I know it has a very noticeable affect !
I think you left the word "course" off the title, homie.
Cool video overall! Keep up the great work. (Also from Michigan, SEMI specifically)
