Great comparison. Really helpful!
Well articulated review with usable practical information. It would be beneficial to tell us the boots and bindings you're using too. Thanks!
Great vid and recs. Thank you!
Stay tuned we'll be dropping new episodes every Friday!
Now you are talking !!! This is a great review , keep going boy’s ! I knew it at you can do better ! 👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks Arturo!! More to come man 🤘
Let’s get these boards on some big boy terrain for a review! I’d like to see a comparison of the Lib Tech Orca vs the Jones Flagship
Thanks for the comment man! I wish we could have got them on some better terrain, this was the best we had available early season in New England. Still a fun comparison nonetheless. Have you ridden either of these?
Go Colby! Go Franco!!
We're pretty lucky to have such awesome experts at Curated!
Awesome review, we need more ice coast specific reviews 😁
Great stuff! Mega merc review?
Hey guys great work but you always do the same thing split decision in all your videos . I would love to see a review about the super doa vs ( jones or libtech or ride) and don’t forget to mention the bindings you’re riding. Peace
I feel like the lib sits in-between the mtn twin and ultra mtn twin right in the sweet spot
Definitely could see that. Would love to get on the ultra mtn twin to compare.
What board would you recommend for the trees for an intermediate, older boarder needing all the help he can get to make quick turns?
dont quote me on this, but probably a stiffer powder board that can float well and turn well, also needs to be fairly wide, I recoccomend the lib tech orca, but make sure to downsize by 3-6 cm. The orca will also need to be ridden with a stiffer binding and boots. Hope this helps you
Hey Michael! Alex, snowboard expert @ Curated.com ( www.curated.com/experts/alex.v ) - to answer your question, I've found the Jones MT to be awesome in the trees but leans a bit more high intermediate into advanced as far as stiffness and capability goes. The Terrain Wrecker is still capable of tree runs just a bit less hard-charging which might give you more opportunity to practice. Hmu thru my profile link above if you have any more questions! 🤙 I'm usually pretty quick to respond!
Would you recommend the Mountain Twin to someone coming off rentals? I'm beginner, maybe intermediate (carving blue, red slopes), the catch is I'm 100kg (220lbs and 190cm (6'3). Athletic but semi-sasquatch
I think you’d be ok, we’re about the same weight. If you’re fairly confident and athletic should be fine. Link to my profile if you wanna chat about it more!
Yes ! mtn twin will perfect ! Get the small one , close to the higher weight of the board recomendations , you will get better flex and better pop ! Easy to drive around too 🤪🤪🍺
What bindings did you use for the boards?
We both use NOW bindings, the Drive and the Pilot. Those were our own personal bindings. Hit up my profile if you wanna chat more about it!
@@francodirienzo6031 Did the pilot have a good enough response for the mountain twin? Or would you suggest upgrading to the drives?
Terrain Wrecker 4 Lyfe
Happy to see the Lib Tech fans making an appearance in the comments!
ALL DAY
Yes standard vs Capita Mercury or Typo vs Jones MT
I don't want to spill the beans but I think you're going to love episode 3 in a couple of weeks
Liked and subscribed, dont let me down i am looking for a new board and these are my favorits.
I need to make a decision 😁
@NoInspiration Beans have been spilled! Check out our newest review of the Typo vs. the Westmark Camber! ruclips.net/video/GIhEDj-061Y/видео.html
@@Curatedcom Watched it and loved it, perfect review for me since my Typo just arrived today I boght the board last weeak it seems a made a good choice.
I can't wait to try it out next week.
Fellow east coaster here... where's your home mtn?
Hey Dalton!! I ride all over but end up at Sunday River quite a bit since I live in Maine. Love all the NH and VT spots but sometimes that drive is just too much. Where do you ride??
You can’t judge a board based on free ride and park capability’s when you’re literally just riding a groomer the whole time
Dancehaul vs warpig
Stay tuned... You may get 50% of your wish very soon 😎 Thanks for the comment man

@@Curatedcom Lips are zipped. I will say no more
@@Curatedcom Personally I’d rather see dancehaul vs lib tech orca
@@palmtree7813 I want to do the dancehaul vs the Stalefish, different profiles but similar price points. And let's just say we might of put the Orca up against a different contender 😉
I go with the Jones, if only cuz it’s not covered in occult symbols
Skidded turns, yet commenting on carving. Basic Ollies and basic switch riding, yet commenting on freestyle. Groomed runs, yet commenting on freeride. Sorry to be harsh. But just expressing an honest review on your review.
Agree, but that’s what most of us do - messing around on the piste in different conditions, with a load of skiers in the way. If you are a pro, you don’t need this video, or an all-mountain…
