I bought a 155 Rome Warden from Curated this past season and holy crap.. that thing has been a game changer for me! Super responsive and an overall perfect directional board. Can’t wait to shred next season
I bought the Orca 159 this season and it’s amazing. It’s 5cm shorter than my last daily driver and has no problems in powder. I did two days of waist deep cat skiing and it was effortless. At my local resort this board holds an edge like nothing I’ve experienced before. I’ve been literally laying on the snow through a toe side carve and it just holds. It definitely performs better the harder and faster you ride it on groomers. In the trees it is super snappy to rip around the trees and is very confidence inspiring in how well it grabs a turn when you need it. I’m so glad I bought this board even though I couldn’t afford it. Totally worth it. It’s a game changer.
Hey Sonya! Alex, snowboard expert @ Curated.com ( www.curated.com/experts/alex.v ) - to answer your question, 5-7 cm shorter than your usual length, so the 147! Hmu thru my profile link above if you have any more questions! 🤙 I'm usually pretty quick to respond!
Thanks for the review! I am planning on buying the Capita DOA 156 as I like to do some park riding as well, I'm just worried about binding overhang. I'm a size 9 US boot so I'd be going with medium sized bindings, but I heard union has big foot beds that stick out the sides of the board. Have any recommendations for bindings that will fit on the DOA?
Hello . Im intermediate rider.Im riding carving and powder usualy.I cant decide between jones mountain twin , capita doa and yes standart. Can you help my decision please .Also Im 190lbs height 1.83 cm us size 11.5 .Which size can you offer me .Thank so much
Idk, these guys look like all they do is carve and all they talk about is how good it carves. And they recommend a T. Rice Orca as their #1 board? Psshh get outta here
You are 100% right! I updated the description to specify that. Although Heather Nall does discuss riding the women's version of Proto Synthesis at 3:27
If you're looking for reviews on women's snowboards we also got some great reviews focused purely on women's boards. This is my favorite ruclips.net/video/PhJPVK8q3oE/видео.html
Alot of us women ride men's boards because the women's boards would just fold up under us. So fwiw these "men's" reviews are unisex for a lot of people.
Update*** after riding the mountain twin for about 10 days i can confidently say don't listen to these guys review boards... This board destroys park and is not a stiff feeling board. About middle of the road
Every board reviewer...Ya I wouldn't recommend this board for a beginner but it would be good for intermediate to advance riders. Lol. Basically if you're a beginner good luck out there bud.

Fun for side hits " *goes 1/2 a foot in the air* "
thats definitely not the board lol
They all look intermediate riders. The way they skid…
Talks about digging trenches and hard carves, cuts to video of skidded turns lol
@@Rezaz32 blame the free uploads 😅
Picked up the NS protosynthesis before my trip to Breckinridge and Vail, I’m a big fan. It rips
feels good having 3 of these in the quiver
is a rocker board between feet little unstable at speed and carve ? thanks
Not at speed I think. The rocker boards, or the C2 and C2x (orca) are super slippery and spin when you 1 foot skate or lining up in chairlift line.
Great review. Thanks.
Is the Harpoon a volume shifted board? I normally ride 156-157 would I need to drop to a 152
@Bobby Chadderton I was curious maybe for future purchase currently I ride the Orca I'm lovin that board, thanks for responding
Looking to buy an Ocra this year. I typically ride a 153, should I size down to a 150 or 147?

No worries if you getting medium unions, I have large on my capita decks and there’s no problems
There will be absolutely no problem with a 156 DOA and size 9/M
Best board for trees? I love tree runs and looking to add a board to my collection
The orca dorka’s
What bindings are on the Jones Mountain Twin (black/red)?
NOW Drive bindings
@@junbug119 Thanks 🙏🏼🤙🏼
Anyone else have issues with lib tech boards splitting at the edge??

I have the Twin and DOA - Twin is a bit more free-ride, DOA a touch more park. You’d love both. Go Jones if you do a bit more all-mountain riding.
Why so short lenghts for the boards? NS 152??
Shorter and more added to width.
You always want to size down on boards like the harpoon and orca
What jacket is that ???!
The black and brown one *

These look great, but surely the video title should be 'The 5 2021 Men's Snowboards'?

“Experts” please… all looks intermediate riding at best .
Эксперты так катаются задней ногой управляя бордом, что смешно немного слушать их экспертное мнение)

Experts?!?!?!? 🤔… sorry but… I don’t see any expert here.. 🤷🏻♂️
