Always astounds me how peoples nerves in movies suddenly disappear as if a sense of danger wouldn't still be looming until they got to land, especially considering they earlier stated how multiple organisms could get through the hole.
Fun fact; water at the depth of the trench is so cold that, even if a Meg were alive, they definitely wouldn't be there for 2 reasons; 1- their dietary requirements would keep them in locations not all that dissimilar to modern great whites, and 2- the actual temperature is lower than most sharks would be able to function properly in.

Robotic voices, people reading their script with a dull monotone voice over, even people streaming themselves in the corner of the upload so we lose part of the scene to someone dead panning the camera... But not you. Humor is solid, cringe levels so low it doesn't even register, and a cadence that's not dull but is mellow enough to chill to. Which is great when you have kids. Aight, that's enough simping for the moment. Keep doing what you like, gov'na! You've clearly found your niche.
