+simplymeg I'm under the impression that no writer writes anything by accident. Every word is intentional and thought out .

+simplymeg Yup. 4 instance: "What's the Yams?" The Yams are those two, thick Sisters (in the Video) up there with those big-ole-fat thighs! Brothas love that sh**! "The Yams is the powers that BE; U can smell it when I'm walking down the street!" (because he spent time with his girl!) "The Yams brought it out in Richard Pryor; manipulated Bill Clinton with desires!" Now Beyonce informs the females: "Okay Ladies, now let's get in-for-mation! Slay trick, or U get e-liminated!" Get information Ladies; educate Urselves, so U can elevate Urselves &:"Always stay gracious, best revenge is Ur paper." (Make Ur paper!) Recognize! Prophetic messages coming from the Artists. Kendrick: "Life ain't nothin' but a fat vagina, screaming: 'Annie R U okay?'" They want what U've got; now make sure U're getting Ur paper, & not left high & dry. Behind EVERY good man is a good woman! Play the game; don't let the game play U.

I'm a white Irish man, and I find it almost unbelievable how I connected so well with Kendricks music and his messages, it goes to show how things like music and message are in no way defined by race or culture, to me there's just the vibrations and what the music means to me. Kendricks helped me a lot with a lot.

This is the same political correctness bullshit that takes light away from real issues.Nothing he said warranted a rain of history lessons on this white dude(but yeah, bruh, slavery IS a super sensitive subject.Plus racism is rampant in the world too so I do understand their point). But still, back the fuck off this white guy

ah, gotcha. and that finally answers something I've wondered for a long time I wasn't too sure I'd even get to know or find out... but, that's probably what Dave chappelle was reenacting in a slave skit where he's getting whipped with a cat o' nine tail and his owner, the white guy whipping him is asking him what his name is and chappelle just keeps answering "kunta.... kinte...." and whatever they were making fun of obviously wasn't released yet in 2016... that is unless chappelle made this "a real long time ago"

Did they censor him when he quoted the lyrics or was that just him not pronouncing the swears? It would be funny if they censored him yet let the uncensored song play

Drake is the new school of talking about money and women it seems he can't talk about nothing else. Not that I dont like him he an Ok Artist but I'm pretty much tired of Drake music. Same old same lyrics

I think radio/tv/magazines should stop asking folks to do the "hey, I'm famous person X - and you're now interaction in some way with the outlet that made me do this'... thing..
Ultimately it feels kinda cheesy and exploitative of the whatever thing.. And ultimately it also usually makes the person who was asked to feel like a bitch..
...NME... It doesn't give you more cred that he said that.. It was just kinda pathetic all around.. Just do that fucking interview its not the 1890s.
