Burring in dirty/soil is a know way to fabricate fake antics. It is use to make a patina on new items. Carpets may also be laid in the street to be walked /driven on and abused to make them look older.

I have a friend who sets up estate sales. She goes to the property, catalogs everything, etc. Sometimes I go with her. We have found beautiful rugs in the most unusual places. Horse barns, chicken houses, rotting barns, basements that have flooded numerous times, just to mention a few. She says this happens all the time.

You'd be surprised what heavy rain does...causes major flooding, causing whole houses to become filled with mud and sewage. I hope you never experience it...
@@kronk358 Whether they do or not, you can't deny this is good content to watch. These are probably old abandoned rugs and they could have likely been soaked in the same mud solution for every video to be given the same caking mud on each rug, but not everything is about the illusion. It's about the joy of watching this carpet get cleaned of all the layers of dirt and mud it's had soaked into it, and then hopefully sold or given to another owner.

I've been watching several carpet cleaning channels for a while and I think yours is the best. I keep thinking, watching your videos, that I'd install a strong plastic or nylon curb to cut that right angle corner so water and dirt would scoot past there much more easily. I don't know, maybe a curb would reduce the amount of water and time it would take to wash everything past that corner. You guys certainly clean beautiful carpets and you do a great job. Cheers!

This is one of the most exquisite carpets I have ever seen and you must be proud to have brought it back to its beauty! And let's not forget the many thousands of silkworms that gave their all so that we could enjoy this carpet.
