How special it must have been to be in the audience that night. Thankful that Meat Loaf left us so much great music, this song being one of my favorite.
I attended all 12 concerts Meat played in Dublin (not double performances) from 1990 when I was barely 17 (no kiding) through to his farewell tour in 2013. This was a moment that stirred emotion. I miss going to his gigs. Amazing, to put it mildly. The first one I went to was on 28 Jan 1990 and will never be matched, ever.

@@pauljbutler7756, follow the instruction, even if it is with a heavy heart. Meat himself would want those dear to him, the fans, to keep on rocking! Cherish the memories, every single one.
@@legendhero99, so happy you saw Meat on that tour. It completely revitalised his career & he always cited it as his motivation to work as hard as he did with Steinman & Bat 2 was released a few years later.
great to see him back on stage where he belongs! get better Meat! we love ya! I love this man with all my heart. So happy to see him getting better. 💜🤘🦇🦇🤘💜

This sounded better than the whole last record. I guess that Meat's Voice on the last record sounded that unimpactful, because of the Las Vegas stuff the years prior. And you know he was giving over a 1000% for his fans always. I wish him all the best ever.
I thought he sounded amazing on the last record. If you didn't expect him to sing high like you did on previous records, and just listen with an open mind, I think it's a really good album. I met him last March and he told me that him and Jim Steinman made a conscious decision for him to sing in that lower voice so the record would sound different than anything they had ever done before. I happened to really love that record, and I listen to it as a whole whenever I listen to it because it's so beautiful.
@@renegadeangel5194 I've never said that the Album was bad in any sense, I love the record to hell and back. He just sounds way too feeble somtimes. I think he could sounded a lot better on that record, but musically it's top notch. It sounds like a dark cabaret most of the times. I totally love it and Meats Voice. =)
I would give anything to see one of these shows and have Todd Rundgren show up that night to perform along with the band. Bat out of hell would have never achieved what it did without Todd Rundgren's input. Remember seeing meatloaf many years ago, great show.
One of the best shows I have ever seen, the atmosphere was out of this world R.I.P meatloaf you left an amazing legacy behind xxxxx

These songs will forever be timeless, Meat. It is time to let a whole new generation fall in love with these songs, for the first time.

I saw him on the same tour in Cork. In the Neptune Stadium in Feb 1990. I was only young but can still remember it as being incredible.

So sad watching the majority of people standing their with phones in their hands.. Rather than dancing, singing & clapping along..
