I am an oil painter and crafter. I’ve had a dream to be a full time artist for 20+ years but I’ve never been able to make much. Now, as much as I like my job, I still find myself longing to go home and longing for the weekends so I can create. I’m starting to work toward opening an Etsy shop. I really hope it works. I have two kids whose lives are on hold because of over $100k in student loan debt. I’m also divorced now and barely making it. I’d love to be able to help my kids as well as myself.
