So so sad that these homes have now been obliterated, smashed to nothing. I wonder what will be left of the landscape in another twenty years. Nothing but overpriced cookie cutter houses built one on top of the other. People will need to head further and further into the wilderness just to find some peace. These homes were each unique and ideally apart from one another will all of the majestically wooded areas now no more. Thanks for sharing them while you still could. Take care Ethan, be well and keep safe.
This was once a really nice, upscale neighborhood from the looks of it. It seems like such a ridiculous waste, but it's good to see that alot of materials are being salvaged apparently. ✌️😎
Cool glasses Ethan , i cannot believe the houses are being knocked down .l, they were beautiful . thank you so much Ethan for taking all of us with you on these homes 🏠🏠 tours as always mich appreciated 👍👍its finally in the 80s here summer is finally here . hopefully the weather is decent in Canada . its june 5 today
Hey Ethan, that property must be very, very valuable for a developer to come in & pay 42 million for these homes only to demolish them!!! Thanks for taking us along on this adventure!!! 👍👍🏣
Hi Ethan Right now I feel sick to know these homes are no longer standing. If they would leave the power on then the basement would not flood. But apparently they don’t care. It seems a waste to buy a neighborhood and pay $42.000.000 for all these homes just to demolish them. It a senseless waste. It makes me feel sad 😢. Thank you Ethan for sharing these beautiful mansions with us. At least these homes can live on in your archives. Stay safe and well.👍😢💙
I noticed another explorer was in that neighborhood. He went into the house that had the large mirrored pillar in the living room that you had been in before. He was saying that no on was allowed on the street or in the homes
Cannot believe houses that are only 35 years old are being demolished....the waste is absolutely insane! North America doesn't have a lot of history and doesn't seem like they're keen on preserving any for the future either.....crazy P.s I love your videos Ethan
7:58 right after you say “you’d have your sink there” I swear I hear a female voice saying “open it”. And this is without headphones on. I’m losing it😂😂😂 Please tell me you had others there filming with you
This breaks my heart 💔 to see the destruction of a reasonable new building 😞😢😰 I consider this wasteful to destroy a perfectly good building!!! If you are not satisfied, update… no need to completely demolish 😞😢😰 Thank you Ethan, we need to be reminded how wasteful people can be😞😰😢
You obviously don't know about sump pumps. They need electricity to work and if you cut off the electricity to a home the sump pump can't do its job and take smaller amounts of water out of the basement. This is just water that's under the ground naturally. I grew up with a house that had a sump pump in the basement. We had to have a few generators for backup bc when our power went out for a few days from hurricanes our basement started to flood.
Some homes have the natural water table underground that is close to the foundations. Some of them don't. That's why some homes need sump pumps and some homes don't. This occurs all over the world not just canada or america.
Hi Ethan 😎🏎,I remember that house you did not to long ago, it’s June 4th,2023 my time lol well can’t wait to see the next house. It’s a shame these big houses are demolished, hope the next one isn’t get knocked down, see you again soon Ethan stay awesome 🌞😎🏎
Ethan fair enough i get the point of most of these cookie cutter large houses street and so many getting knocked down so quick its hard to cover em all. But you covered most of em and we got a fair idea what a 1988 house looked like its also good that they reusing and recycling the fittings and doors. Cheers
@@ethanminnie Good for you I guess redbull gives you wings, i hear you had to get permish from Security or the demo workers to film and most had the pool in the basement so they were basically very quick to film. but i do hope this new subdivision brings many many years because a 1950s house filled with Asbestos vs these young ones i just find it perplexing but land becoming scarse i guess thanks
@Ethan Minnie, the full house walk through you did, was the basement flooded, as you did not go there or really show much of it or talk about it much either? Just wondering & I bet some others that see this would be wondering that too. All these nice looking houses being torn down just makes me mad, such a waste. What would have happened if one owner said no to selling their house, would they be forced out? Just wondered on that too. Great explores & nice you are able to get to some before they are gone. And on the date thing, it's June the 5th, just letting you know.
See, I told you we have a lot in common 😅 you wearing my sunglasses... I changed my default so you could see 🩷 mines are "Kate Spade" (New York designer) .. cool-beans! 😊
Great walk through. Glad I got to see this before it got demolished. 👍

Shame, nice houses. Another flooded basement. I'm very glad to see things from these houses being removed and reused. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

What a shame everything was pulled out of the 🏡. It is June 5 when watching this, too bad the basements are always flooded 😢. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for documenting this, Ethan. 👍
When I am seeing this is June 5th 2023. But it is an amazing place. Love it.
The haircut looks good Ethan!
Very good to see that so much was salvaged from that last house👍🏽
Today is the fifth 😊. A shame all these homes that were once beautiful getting demolished.
It’s more lighter upstairs and it’s dark downstairs this house wood ‘t be strip but you can tell this house looked nice back in the 2009 and 10
Why would anyone build a home like this and the basement floods?
I can't tell 1988 homes from 2023 homes. A door is a door. Same with cabinets and tile.
Glad to see that they have salvaged a lot of the fixtures in those houses still very sad. Great video thanks Ethan.
Hey Ethan!! Great explore of these mansions. 🥰🥰🥰

Cool shades Ethan that was awesome video
Hey Ethan! I enjoy your videos!!! Must be something wrong for all of those basements to flood like that…what a shame!

Outstanding video as always Ethan and thank you for the tour of the place 👍❤️😎
