YES it does have a lot of power for 2 liter you put your foot down and it does 0-100 in 7.4 sec and a very smooth gearbox. After driving a few of them they are all quite good to drive i am getting the H6 Ultra in few days. UPDATE, I got the Havel H6 Ultra 2022 with the updated engine 160KW 345NM torque does pull very well I had it on a closed off road up to 160km/h and still has lots to go. The vehicle is very quiet and refined surprisingly well quality build better than Mazda CX-5 or Toyota Rav 4 I would say. Everyone says excellent choice for a vehicle I am very happy with it.
We have owned our H6 Ultra for over 12mths now and my wife loves it, myself not so keen my biggest dislikes are the gear knob sometimes selecting the correct gear can be a hit and miss, and the aircon controls which are on the LCD screen which require you to go in the menu and then select the desired settings and we have found that the size of the car front can sometimes limit your vision when trying to avoid little obstacles like curbs in tight turning areas like drive through and finally the close sensor proximities can do your head in as the seem to activate a lot when driving through drive throughs, apart from these minor annoyances the car is great for the price.
I'm still learning the Jolion, but I've found with the lane assist, if I turn off sound but leave vibrate on, then the car will remember these settings. If you just turn it all off, it will come back on upon restart. Also, apparently you can swip the screen sideways for shortcuts. Yet to try this.
I have had my Haval H6 Ultra 4WD for 1 year now and I still love it. It still looks and feels brand new. Everyone that sees it or gets in it says …wow… what a beautiful car. And the two screens always impress. I’m always called upon to take my car when we need to car pool as it is so comfortable in the back seat. With the panoramic sun roof and visibility from the rear everyone wants the back seat !!! It is truly extraordinary for the money. The only things that are good but not great are : 1) ride - fix the ride as it clunks badly over speed bumps and is very wobbly on imperfect roads 2) front seats / seating position / steering adjustment- I have an under thigh support to fix my problem as it is insufficient for me. The seats look beautiful and are good. The electronic seat adjustment needs to go 10cm further in every direction & I can’t put the seat back far enough. Add under thigh support & adjustment & make the lumbar support better (needs tweaking so that the max level is the starting position). The steering column adjustment doesn’t move far enough in any direction. My left foot is jammed up against the oversize centre console. Space is needed for the left foot in the right hand drive car. As I said everything is good and definitely not bad but to make the car great fix these 2 minor gripes. I still can’t recommend this car enough. But buy the 4WD version.
I just don't get it. Not sure if you guys can't read or are just biased. That car has 150kw and 320nm of torque. The highest outputs of any car in that segment is standard engine form, I'm pretty sure. Not sure if any have dropped their entry level engines at the time of this video.

Just to give some extra info about H6. So I am a Chinese living in Australia. I don't work in the car industry, but I have some mechanical background. I don’t have plans to buy the Haval H6, I'm just very interested in cars. I know the Haval H6 has been the best selling medium size SUV in China for years and it's been mostly known as a pretty reliable car. I read quite a few Chinese reviews of the car and here is a very interesting one I found: ruclips.net/video/El6Z6dao4iI/видео.html There is an English subtitle in the video BTW. In the video, they compared Haval H6 with another very popular Chinese SUV after both driving them for 100,000kms (about 6-7 years average driving in Australia that is). One thing to mention here is they drove both of the cars in a short period of time (about 6 months) in mixed open roads. So I believe the test would't find ageing issues, but other than the wearing issues. In the video, they dissembled both of the cars and checked their build qualities, the conditions of the major components including the engines, and they give their thoughts. I will be talking about the Haval H6 here. The Haval H6 did very well in the test and they've only experienced one small issue during the 100,000kms drive and the issue was fixed by the 4s under the warranty. They mentioned the build quality of the Haval H6 seemed to be very well, and they didn't see much wearing of the engine and other major components. They also did the braking and accelerating tests for the 100,000kms old car, and the car also did very well. So their conclusion of the Haval H6 was the car was built pretty well and seemed to be quite reliable. Based on my other readings from the Chinese medias, a common opinion about the Haval H6 is the car is not a “driver’s car”, but it should be good enough for the average users in normal roads. An interesting thing I found was some Chinese reviews thought the car drives a bit firm, well apparently the car is considered soft here in Australia. How about the engine? So the car’s engine is not the most advanced, and its output is very mild as a 2.0T turbo. Also, the car has been considered thirty. They think the engine is tuned to be more reliable other than performant. How about the transmission? So the transmission is a 7 speed wet dual clutch, and it’s not as smooth as your normal ACTs but most reviews consider it as a ’smooth DCT’.
So the Toyota RAV4, Mazda CX-5 or Hyundai Tucson are still the better SUV?. The Haval & MG SUV's are impressive but the question of reliability & quality, the dct & engine under power are real concerns. No matter where I look, I always come back to the Toyota RAV4 & the naturally aspirated 2.5l cx5 & Tucson. Which do you think is best SUV to purchase in the naturally aspirated 2.5l petrol engines, 6/8 speed auto AWD out of the 3, RAV4, Mazda CX-5, or the Tucson?? Appreciate to hear your thoughts 👍

Nice! I am waiting for my new H6. I ordered an ultra and upgrading my car from the GLC 250 as well but petrol one. A lot of people are surprised at my decision!
We bought an Ultra in mid 2021. 27k km now with no isssues. It is a great car for the money spent (37 drive away). Likes: heated steering wheel and seats, heads up display, room in back seat, reasonably quick. Dislikes: over the top braking when using cruise control, too many beeps and bongs that you cant turn off. Cant justify 60-80k for a similar specd SUV.
So Australia is Right Hand Drive wonder why Havel haven't lunched in Ireland and UK nice range of cars and seems value for money. They could make waves like MG are doing.
Interesting. Except the ultra comes with 19in alloys as well. The only difference between the ultra and vanta is the black grill and black alloys on the vanta.
I think you are mistaken, this is not an Ultra because to me it looks like it's a Super Luxury, I'm saying this because of it's rims and I'm pretty sure that it's got 19" wheels not 18" wheels

Thanks for the video. Good advice. I am very pleased with my new H6 Vanta. A couple of things I don't like- being unable to permanently turn off the Lane assist. Also that crazy habit of slowing down dramatically on road bends while using Cruize control.
I turned the lane assist off when we bought ours in mid 2021 and haven't had to touch it since. It seems there's no consistency between each vehicle. Agree with the cruise control though.
As per 7:40 in this review, regarding the reduced volume and the screen display being hijacked when using the indicators, does this also happen in the Jolion, and can it be turned off? And if it can be turned off, is that permanent, or will it have to be done each time the car is started up?
test drive the H6 4wd .It tik all the boxes the only problem is the noise from the road and for gravelroad its a bit hard. dont try to compaire with a vw or other branded cars on gravelroads but still n very nice car and well priced
I've had the H6 Ultra AWD for some time now and two things irk me - the torque delivery / gearbox is not great... It is unresponsive off the mark and then takes off like a bat out of hell. The second is that seat doesn't have a seat base tilt and for me (6'4) this leaves me feeling less "cradled" in an already high seating position and more like I'm sitting on a park bench. Having said all that, everything else about the car is fantastic.
For the taking off part, I usually put it on eco mode to avoid that sudden jolt, mind you it ends up not being that quick so I prefer doing that driving in town. For the quick response, put it in sport mode, high revs but put in a nice pair of tailpipes and enjoy the growl. Hopefully they will update the software soon for a smoother power distribution.
Before I comment on the car, is it compulsory for reviewers always say HATCH (instead of AITCH)!? COMMENTS:- I think you summed up the 22 Haval H6 really well - it is indeed a very good SUV for an affordable price. ps. Only unknown. Getting it serviced beyond the cities might be challenging.

We took the previous model for test drive and found that features were really great, however, the drive was so bad that we thought it was dangerous. For the 2022 car, did Haval improve/solve this problem?
I have a new Haval H6 too but it is the cheapest of the 3 models being a 2 wheel drive only but as I do not go off road and the extras by going up a model were not worth the additional money. The one thing I hate is what you have mentioned and that is the dead spot when crossing an intersection. It is indeed dangerous but 20 years ago I hired a Mercedes saloon (forgotten the model) and experienced exactly the same thing. Other than that and the lack of a information in the Owner's Manual, I am happy.

GWM has another brand called WEY, which offers higher-level SUVs with Hybrid engines and high efficiency of gas.
Not a bad review but I do wish the reviewer would not pronounce the "H" haitch but as aitch. I know that many people do it but it is incorrect and hurts my ears.
Don't watch then and your problem solved...

For the money is to good 👍

Why does he say the letter "H" the way he does?
It's an Australian thing. I've lived here since i was 12 and still laugh about it.
I missed it. What's the time stamp?

These top spec model Chinese brands remind me of all those Chinese counterfeit watches…on the surface they look premium and that in turn makes the driver feel like he’s driving something special…but dig a little deeper and we’ll…give me the “Seiko” any day, may not look as flash, but your going to get the correct time day in day out for years to come.
Not saying this car is good, but this model has been the top selling SUV in China for the past 10 years. So quality wise, I don't think there's anything major.
It's a very, very good car. It's sales figures and owner reviews confirm the fact. Extremely competitively priced, also dealerships are so helpful and nice!
Our of date thinking on your part, what makes you think the chinese consumer is any less demanding than Australian consumer..?
H H H pronounced H. Otherwise great review.
H= AITCH
It may be good, it may be cheap, but under current international political climate, I am not buying a car designed and built in China. To be honest at any other time I may consider it before a Tesla because I’m not a fan of Elon Musk either. It just seems naive to put my faith in a Chinese car at this time.
Better get rid of a third of everything you own then because that's what proportion of non consumable goods are either designed, made or owned by Chinese companies. Welcome to the global economy.
I would never buy a Chinese car but for a phone ,TV and shopping at Bunnings I'm OK with.
@@mvnorsel6354 I respect your decision but what is the difference buying a phone and a car made in China? I also am not a fan of China, but this car is ok.

Why not. Value for money. They are buying all your iron ore and turn them into evs. Win win.
