These fish are stocked by the hundreds of thousands …paid for by who ? You guessed it …outdoorsman!! I don’t know if these ones in particular are stocked but here in Ohio …the ODNR is on top of there game keeping our rivers and creeks clean and full of trout to fish for !! In the wild they lay thousands of eggs that will replace every one of those fish caught …there are limits for a reason …a ton of science and math and research goes into these bag limits …there are studies and number ram every single year to determine how many fish were released and how many were caught …they find that sweet spot for the area they are in and roll with it …there are so many stocked steelhead in Ohio that sometimes you could walk on top of them in the shallows …great job to what ever state this is in for keeping up with conservative efforts to better our families futures
Why would you fish that seam, give the fish a chance? There’s no fighting the fish just pulling them out and you’re done. That’s not the sport of fishing. None of them are true fisherman. Should be illegal to fish spots like that in my opinion.

The way they fight, the long runs they make, the jumps head shakes etc. On light tackle. It's what makes it special, if you land half of the ones you hook it's an insane ratio. Places like this people are too close for that, you have to have a heavier leader or tippet and just horse them in.

They are smart …fast …agile …and very tough …not to mention amazing eye sight good enough to decipher if a hook is tied to a piece of line …you will see them chase it !! Get within inches of the bait …and turn away at the last second cause they know it’s bullshit ….then they get skidish and it’s like they talk to the other fish and then non will bite and they will all advance to the next deep hole and wait out the night
