beautiful figure. absolute nails it with evoking that 80s vibe alongside contemporary cues and modern action figure technologies. Take all that alongside the fact that it's size/scale. *chef's kiss*
I didn't keep much track of this line before now, but this *THIS* is exactly what I've been missing. It has so much detailing and quality that I wished to see from a Transformer, but it's small enough fit in with other Transformers and not take too much shelf space (or budget lol) like DLX. Alt modes be damned I say. lol I really hope they release other main characters too, like Megs, Starscream and Soundwave.
I like the color saturation they got with the yellow. ThreeZero is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands. I don't have their transformers figures but I do have their Shin Getter and EVA figures. Everything I have gotten is amazing and top notch. I really hope they continue the Robo-Dou line and we will see Shin Getter 2 & 3.
This is something I've always wanted to see and I'm so happy that this company did such an amazing job not only with the design but also the figure. Gonna have to pick this up
You know, I had overlooked this one just because of how overwhelmingly yellow it looked in the promo shots. I'm still not a fan of the color scheme, but I can respect the design and the detail work.
I got bee yesterday he’s so cute lol, beautiful little figure. For anyone who’s interested these mdlx line scale absolutely perfectly with flame toys model kits of the gang. He’s with my flame toys prime and they work brilliantly together.
Aesthetically he does look good with BB movie prime. Would love to see a scaled version of him to go with this. But I guess the Prime they have planned works too
I appreciate how thorough you are with your reviews (ONE of the reasons why I keep coming back 😊) Having said that, I also appreciate when a company takes the time and effort to add the little things/details into their product. I tend to notice those too. So thanks for pointing those out! I hope they don’t lose that customizer’s passion for figures.
Thanks for the review! I've had this bad boy pre-ordered for a bit...and have really wanted a Transformers line exactly like this. Great to see it's going to live up to my expectations!
Have it on preorder at bbts and I hope they ship soon since it's already in some folks hands for review. Nice job and totally agree these can exist in the Transformer universe. I display 90% of my Transformers in Bot mode and this 1 has so many articulation points it can be posed up for days!!!
this is what I've been waiting for and you sum it up perfectly...this is modern and yet vintage at the same time, well said! And i really hope also that they will continue to make many more characters, whole of G1 with their modern take!
This looks awesome. Might be the definitive Transformers line for me. For the price I've these, I'm going to pass on most of this line. But I do have the MDLX Optimus Prime pre-ordered, can't wait for that to release.
Yep, you and d_amazing convinced me... pre-ordered this little guy. I'm usually a Transforming Transformers guy, but I really like this offering. Also, TBH 60$ isn't bad for this... I was expecting it to be more like 80 or more.
It would be nice to have it at $100 just to have it scale to a bigger size to match other Transformers figures. Not sure if that is a cost saving measure?
@@brianng8350 Yeah, once you get this in hand and see how small it is, the price seems about right. $100 is too much for such a miniscule figure and then the price of the MDLX Optimus Prime would be cost even more and be closer to the price of their WFC line, which wouldn't make any sense. We got the Bayverse, Bumblebee Movie and the WFC in the DLX scale already and another wouldn't make sense. The whole point of thr MDLX line is a smaller scale at an affordable price, but with the hook of it being 3Z's own designs influenced by G1.
Solid review, Robo! It really tempts me to start collecting Transformers. I'm holding fast though. I really need to budget my collecting dollar wisely for 2022.
Beautiful coloring -especially the silver parts. It is smaller than expected. But it was not look like it is scale to anything else from Three Zero? Are they starting a new line? Or this is cost reduction deciding. It is amazing they would create a separte part for the wheels even though this does not transform, which is a shame because it is very beautiful overall.
I seen that they announced a Rodimus and Megatron already, haven't show the figures yet just teases. I think if there doing rodimus there going to go all in onthis line and I cant wait
I’m holding of to buy this because I really really want a DLX sized version of this. I already own their premium and some DLX, and man, don’t feel like getting into a 3rd size line. I hope they can do this guy in the same size as the DLX movie Bumblebee.
Bumblebee and other “mini bots” are shorter than rest of the Transformers. Cartoon and movies show them to be about 8-10ft tall, while “average” size is 15ft+ and Prime/Megatron around 20-25ft tall. That’s the way they’ve always been.
@@brainlock72 yeah I realize that keeping the line in scale is important but like I said I'd rather this be a little bigger as far as a toy, even make the bigger transformers in the line to scale a little bigger as well of course the cost would go up.
A little too gritty looking for me. It's strange that they went so small with him, unless they plan to release another one that is scaled with their larger bots.
Real VW Beetles have CURVES. 😜 I think the biggest annoyance for me is that forehead horn? block? Whatever you want to call that thing above his eyes. (NOT a tabard!) It’s larger than normal and distracting from the rest of the head sculpt. Even the “Mohawk” behind it is distracting. Otherwise, the sculpting looks great! I’d say it’s probably worth it if yo7 were a diehard Bumblebee fan or TF fan. As for me, the constant reiterations of the same handful of characters in EVERY style/format got annoying to me years ago. I was pretty much done before Combiners drew me back in, and now I’m out again. (Side eyes ML and McBatman lines….)
Really would like this, but a little worried the Optimus Prime won't scale correctly with him. I already got burnt by the pretty awful R.E.D. series...
OK gonna put this out there it it a TRANSFORMER make something that resembles the OG cartoon Bumble bee that can TRANSFORM and stop with all of the untransforming crap allready

The dlx ones aren't that expensive. The larger ones are like 500+, loll

I’m waiting on my Unit 00 right now. The 01 and 02 figures are jaw-dropping.

Just picked this up...AMAZING piece!!!
You know, I had overlooked this one just because of how overwhelmingly yellow it looked in the promo shots. I'm still not a fan of the color scheme, but I can respect the design and the detail work.
I wish these were the same size as the dlx bumble bee movie ones

I love how the watcher just casually watching us while being upside down.
Aesthetically he does look good with BB movie prime. Would love to see a scaled version of him to go with this. But I guess the Prime they have planned works too
Super excited for mine! I really hope they continue this line 😁

One of my favorite looks for the little yellow man
He looks un-bee-lievable! 🐝

ThreeZero has been killing it! I was sold since their DLX movie BB and I CANT wait for their Hulkbuster!!
this is what I've been waiting for and you sum it up perfectly...this is modern and yet vintage at the same time, well said! And i really hope also that they will continue to make many more characters, whole of G1 with their modern take!

Dang I loved the funny intro skit 😂
I like the paint wash! That is a cool figure 🤙🤙🤙
This mdlx line hit the mark. I hope it does really well and they go deep with it
Honestly, $60 doesn’t sound bad for a figure like this. I was expecting closer to $100

I want movie figures in this scale lol
Love the creative intro!!!
Really hope this scale is seen to the end awesome review 👍🏼
Megatron and Rodimus are next. yes hopefully they go very deep with it
Great review Robo! This is what I was hoping the RED line would be. Although these are pricey, I'm seriously tempted to pick them up.
Thanks for the review 😎
Honestly I love these designs as action figures without having to worry about the transformations. I hope whole this line does really well
Great review Robo and as another awesome intro 🤣🤣🔪
I hope this line has legs, because I want EVERYONE in this style.
G1 scale wise this bumblebee goes perfect with the threezero prime
Stealth Ironman under the lamp, hahaha spotted it. Thought you could hide it behind your arms did you Robo?
More fwoosh let's go
Awsome figure!
Optimus Prime: Autobots let's watch Breaking Bad!
Can we please see a review of the Walmart bumblebee from the intro
I love your shirt. Just saying.

Very cool, but it's like his face is hiding in the silver. Maybe they should've panel lined his face too.
I seen that they announced a Rodimus and Megatron already, haven't show the figures yet just teases. I think if there doing rodimus there going to go all in onthis line and I cant wait
Can u tell me what the beat in the intro was?? Btw its my 5th time watching this review. So sweet..!
Megatron and Rodimus are coming soon
I’m holding of to buy this because I really really want a DLX sized version of this.
I already own their premium and some DLX, and man, don’t feel like getting into a 3rd size line.
I hope they can do this guy in the same size as the DLX movie Bumblebee.
This is tiny, at least optimus is going to be 7” so I’ll just get that guy, this guy is going to be the same size as my harley queen 😂
Threezero is killin it!!!! But wht make him so small??? 6 inch would've been perfect

This figure is amazing looking and I don't collect Transformers.
He has a flat chest because he did in the cartoon I'm thinking.
A little too gritty looking for me. It's strange that they went so small with him, unless they plan to release another one that is scaled with their larger bots.
Yeah, this line is smaller than the dlx scale

No top 10?
Really would like this, but a little worried the Optimus Prime won't scale correctly with him. I already got burnt by the pretty awful R.E.D. series...
The optimus is listed at 7 inches so it should scale well
OK gonna put this out there it it a TRANSFORMER make something that resembles the OG cartoon Bumble bee that can TRANSFORM and stop with all of the untransforming crap allready
Too easy
Sorry but it looks hideous 😂
