I don't care about transforming either, they're always gonna be on my shelf in robot mode. This is the definitive Optimus Prime figure for me, I love it. I don't like the floating pieces over the feet, but I can live with that. The only thing I really hate is that now I'm tempted to go all in on the MDLX line, and that's gonna be expensive.
Love everything about this apart for the scrawny head and lack of chest opening up to reveal the matrix. I prefer their Bumblebee's design more. Megatron looks awesome though.
@@UnparalleledUniverse Yeah, I heard you mention that on your review and understand. To me, it looks too young looking like (if you can say that about a robot) and lacks the wise, strong commanding look and presence that I associate with Prime.
I just got this figure in yesterday and it's already my favourite Optimus figure. All of the detail, articulation, paint, and accessories are incredible. Now I'm really looking forward to the MDLX Megatron! ^^

I'm not a hardcore Transformers fan, but I am a fan of what Three Zero does. Their quality among their lines are insane considering the price point. Great review Wade!
not a fan of the different scales, which is why im letting the furari action flame toys is doing, but ill be getting the ones that are 6 inch or between 8 inch so they can fit in with the flame toys action line. i think its a waste of plastic making them 5 inches or around that.
This Optimus looks like he jumped from the war for cybertron games after reaching earth. I like how it looks next to the legacy figures but better with the movie ones.

Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed the review. It does feel like he has a little less Die Cast but it doesn’t feel like quality in my opinion. Mixing plastic and metal isn’t always the best thing anyway. I think Prime has a good balance of both.

I don’t mind the size of the head, it reminds me of the IDW comics both in size and design

they have MDLX Megatron up for preorder right now and shown line work for Rodimus afterwards. They also showed a list with Starscream coming soon.
