I love your tutorials. Your voice is so soothing and you've taught me so many patterns.
I saw this on Ravelry and then came to find the tutorial you made. It is one of my favorite patterns! I'm using Lion Brand Manadala Spirit. This pattern is so easy to remember. I suffer from anxiety and this is a pattern where I can just get lost in the repitition and the feel of the yarn and the look of the project. It brings me such joy to crochet it. Purple Iguana if you see this, you are amazing! Thank you and Thank you Fiber Spider for bringing your soothing voice and tutorial style!
I have a hard time reading patterns so tutorials help me so much and this was perfect!

My mom, who is very proud of my work and has been watching your videos, but who insists that she is not a crocheter despite the fact that she does actually know the stitches, watched this video and starts IMing me, "Are you sitting down? Another outstanding tutorial. He always gets everything right. His voice is calm, his hands do not block the view, the camera is close, the lighting is good, the yarn and background colors contrast, and his explanations are clear.

Work has been nuts lately and I find myself stressed and brain dead when I get home. Crochet helps me to relax and the one row repeats are perfect when I can't think anymore. The end product makes a great gift for co workers and friends who can use the morale boost. I love Purple iguana's pattern.

Your instruction is perfect. However, I am having the hardest time crocheting into stitches and knowing which stitch. I have crocheted 5 granny square shawls, which were crocheted into the chain spaces, as opposed to stitches. Would you happen to have a tutorial (or lead me in a direction) that would help me learn how to figure out which stitch and how to crochet into them? I am a real newb. I can do the slip knots and stitches, it is just learning how to actually find the stitch I need and how to go into it. I appreciated all of your wonderful tutorials. You have a gift with teaching and I certainly cannot understand why a yarn company has not sponsored you. I adore your calm instruction. Your cadence is mesmerizing. Your work is stunning. I am going to head back to my granny shawl until I hear back. I am very much looking forward to being able to crochet ALL of your beautiful pieces. I love you, your a good teacher. You are the one that taught me how to make my first shawl. It was the modern day Granny square where it has that single crochet chain three in between the Granny's. I do like that it makes it look a bit different. Over again thank you for teaching us how to make beautiful things for our family and friends.

I made this shawl in 2 days and love it. You are so right - it's an easy design and it's exactly what I was looking for and used a 1 Caron Big Cake yarn. I'm setting up to make another using a 6mm crochet hook for a slightly looser stitch. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve watched a few other men do tutorials and I didn’t much care for their technique. You are so easy to follow and it helps that your voice is so calming and happy. The bobble stitch is fun too. Keep on doing what you love.

Well I’m shocked I’ve never found this on your channel yet it’s many many many months ago!
I’m sooo glad I did! I love it!! I’m using the Color way “echo waves” Lion bran Mandala cake, the 590 yrd one. It goes from soft to medium navy alll thru a few lighter blues to ivory then a few hues of pale sage green all the way to medium teal and back to medium navy and I really love this cakes colours and the shawl is working up surprisingly fast even with the pain and oopsy here and there. I am already using a stitch marker on that center spine cuz I missthem way more often then not then must frog 15-25%😬😳😬😎😎😎I love my stitch markers. I make my own as I do work on jewelry also when I’m more well. I’d love to make you a few if you’d let me? Just need fave colors and metal and I’ll figure something out as soon as this sickness leaves us all alone! We’ve been closed everything where I am in the western part of Canada for over 2 weeks now going close to 3! So only take out and hub gets the groceries delivered. I’m scared to be honest for so many reasons. I pray it will begin to go away after the projected awful peak on my birthday if u can believe that! Lol Easter Sunday this year. Long time since it was on Easter. Can’t even go to church, anyhow , Enough complaining from me. I’m thankful for every hour. I already had my second chance, I’m not trying to take any time for granted. Sorry for the long message, but I hope you get it and I just was thinking about you and realized I’ve been overcome have two other ppl to care for 24/7 that usually work and go to school😳. I think I will do this pattern next. I just finished one from a year ago. The Arbor shaw. It was a little difficult to keep track of what to do in each ending of a row, but I did it. I would like to show a picture but Having problems with that right now. Thank you for the beautiful patterns and all the instructions. It's nice you take alot of time with this.
