Overhauling an ABB Turbocharger TSP44-F32

A video fast-play on pulling out, disassembly, cleaning, overhauling and re-assembly of the turbocharger of our auxiliary engine (YANMAR 6EY18W_L).
This video is just an overview of the other upcoming instructional video that I will share related to this machinery. Yes, I will make a detailed one, soon once I have completed recording and covering all of the parts. And also If weather and time permits.

Procedure is wrong…secure first bearing bush turbine side before installing the rotor so it wont move when you install the auxiliary bearing together with trust ring ang thrust bearing…then need to do balancing before you install the rotor…

We just followed the ABB TSP44-F32 Instruction Book on disassembly and assembly, probably you are pertaining to a different model or maker.

I am not Sir…working in ABB as service engineer and it is not allowed to do cartridge overhauling on site without balancing…if you are referring to working instruction on overhauling complete TC then its another procedure..I diffinitely know TPS44 and its an F series meaning triple thread model must have check release torque..I saw your rating plate no need to argue.

This turbocharger manual doesn't have cartridge overhaul methods. Any idea from where to get that?

This is a triple thread shaft need to do release torque intightening the compressor wheel..

TSP 52 are much bigger turbo chargers. Please check you generator engine manual for the list of parts. It should be on board the vessel as required by classification society.
