I've got a 2013 2.2 4x2 Mahindra pickup here in South Africa...not even 4wd and it goes anywhere our old Landrover and neighbors Land Cruisers go without too much effort, love it loads and want to get a newer one soon to work with it
G'day mate and thanks for watching. Would you get another 4x2 or would you go a 4x4 next time. I looked at a 4x3 when I was first interested in the mahindra, but the 4x4 wasn't much dearer in price. I've herd really good things about mahindra and I love driving mine all the time.👍
@@grahamharris4wdadventures53 To be honest again the 2wd version, the newer one has the diff lock lock so it would probably be a bit better than the one I've got now which has the limited slip diff, so far learning to drive a normal vehicle in horrible conditions and farm tracks has taught me that you don't need a 4x4 at all, I follow Cruisers and Landrovers all over, of which the Landrovers are permanently in 4x4 and the Mahindra goes up horrible mountain roads and through deep rivers without much effort
I am glad that you like mahindra, when I was in Australia there where only a few, I have seen only one or two tradies driving it. I think the sales have picked up 👍, people are coming to realise the potential of this machine.
Yeah mate. They ate increasingly getting popular here now. People are definitely starting to realise the stigma is all bullshit. They are a good alternative to the major brands. Thanks for watching mate and thanks for your feedback.

2 great looking trucks .mahindra realy have a game changer in there trucks .good stuff .lol roll it or do something next thing the rear wheels popping.
Bahahahaha thanks mate. Yeah they are a pretty capable off road truck. The mahindra does make things look a bit easy, hence me telling the wife to do something more exciting for the camera 🤣. Thanks for watching mate 👍
Thanks for the kind words mate. Yeah I like to show that you don't have to do what everyone else is doing. The mahindra is a real contender against the other main stream 4x4's. And it does it at a fraction of the price. Thanks for watching mate and please share my channel with your friends 😀 👍
Thanks for the kind words mate. Yeah we aren't hard core and don't like destroying our builds for the sake of the camera. And these things are used as an every day driver. But it's good to see how the years of technology hasn't changed the outcome to much for the farm ute. Thanks for watching 👍
Your English is just fine mate. We actually don't get the wagon version over here, so it's a bit hard to compare the two of them. But the biggest obvious advantage is carrying capacity. You can put 1 tone in the back and still have 5 people in the front. Thanks for watching mate, and please share my channel with your friends 😀
Smaller tyres are kryptonite. How much bigger do you reckon you can get under there? Could you get 265/75r16? 235/85r16? 32x11.5r15s? Or are the 31x10.5r15s pushing clearance as it is?
Lol... mate I wish I could stick bigger under it. Unfortunately the 31's rub pretty hard as it is. Had to do a little modification to get them under as well. Just not made for the bigger stuff like a cruiser unfortunately.
Yeah I agree totally. Unfortunately we can't fit a bigger tyre under the mahindra like the landcruiser. They isn't any room under the guards for a tyre of that size. But it would benefit greatly from it. 👍
@@grahamharris4wdadventures53 i don't know how but one of my friend always manages to easily drive his mahindra scorpio (2 wheel drive SUV) through muddy and ditchy terrain in our mountainous village in the foothills of himalayas but it is always fascinating to watch how well he and his scorpio does. by the way he still has the scorpio he bought in 2008
Thanks Graham for showing a bit of what our Mahindras are capable of. And love the way you are teaching and encouraging the young fella.
No problem mate, and thanks for watching. He's a keen kid and absolutely loves his cruiser. And I'm proud as punch to watch him give it a red hot go.
@@grahamharris4wdadventures53 He'll need a few more years of working that wheel to build up his arms. No power steering is a great workout.

All the Toyota fans won't like it when you show the Mahindra keeping up with a landcruiser.
The mahindra is a very capable off road ute. It does lack the tyres of the cruiser, but it handles itself very well. 👍
Great vid mate, good example of what a handy little rig the Mahindra'sare off road.. have you seen my new Mahindra?
Thanks mate. Yeah you have a beast of a touring set up. I thought about a canopy like yours, but I really needed a tray.
Another awesome video my friend! Really enjoying the quality content ☺️🙏 awesome seeing the family having a blast too!
Thanks mate, it is always good getting the kids out and enjoying the bush. 😀

The doggo would be scared as the Toyota was going through some unusual angles 😁😁
Naa he loves it. He usually sits on the quad bike with me when we go chasing rabbits. Lol
Nice work, out playing
Thanks mate. It was a great day out😀
This is the first time I've seen Scorpio truck 😍
Does that body build make it grips better?
Sorry bad English

It certainly is 😀. My young fulla absolutely loves his build. Thanks for watching 😀👍
Big wheel n good riding
Thanks mate. 👍
I’d like to see Mahindra VS 2003 Hilux please
So would I. But I don't have a highlux available to me. Sorry. But thanks for watching 👍
Would you consider upgrading the diff-lock? The standard one seems very jumpy
Nope it works perfectly fine for what we need. 👍
❤❤from India
Thank you. It's always awesome when I get messages from different parts of the world 😀
The worst thing about mahindra is the wait of getting one I pick mine up in April or may
Yeah it a bit like that everywhere. Covid stuffed everything
@@grahamharris4wdadventures53 correction the CHINA VIRUS stuffed everything
In India, they are booked for next 7 or 8 months....
So, any new buyer should wait for almost an year
They are getting really popular now. 👍
is that mindy an S6 or S10?
Over here in Australia the s6 is a single cab and an s10 is a dual cab. So I have what is called a s10+ dual cab with the heavy duty steel tray.

Tire type and threads is very unfair for comparison, think with similar type tires mahindra would have done a lot better an with more ease

Small wheels and leaf under diff springs ( just like the 79 ) don’t help
Nope, I agree totally 👍
Mahindra always best👍🏻
They are an awesome 4x4👍
Scorpio doing great with less cash
Yep, about $15,000 different between both 4x4's. Just goes to show that you don't need an expensive 4x4 to have some fun.
Mahindra " Bolero" 4x4 pickup truck, can go anywhere.
I do like them. 👍
She might be not good in those terrains vehicle is not always everything the person driving also need to be good
Who are you talking about???
Hand the Mahindra to some Indian then see the result
Don't need to thrash it. I'm sure if you have absolutely no respect for it. You can bounce it through a lot more.
