    You can write all the helpful content you want. I see future Google updating with an even stronger Ai (that probably being trained to use lengthy content to answer these questions fast). Most people's attention span is DWINDLING anyways. Not many people can even get past a 5 minute article.

      Hey there! Even if search engines do use AI to source longer content to provide a quick answer, we would rather it find that information from YOU rather than a competitor. AI will hopefully source you as the creator of the content it found the information from.
      If people can't get past a 5-minute article, it means that the information the customer needs isn't being given in a helpful and engaging way. If it was an actual attention span problem, streaming services would be in big trouble! 😉
      That's also an opportunity to use things like short-form video if it's a topic that can be covered quickly in that medium.
      Thanks for watching!

      There are a lot of educated guesses about what the future of seeking information online is, but websites are not going away. And the question we must ask ourselves is - when someone lands on our website what is their experience like? Do we look like an AI-generated pop-up website (which there will continue to multiply each year) or are we authentic, genuine, and trustworthy. Websites (at least for the foreseeable future) are always going to be a part of the buying process. The one caveat is going to be if you're selling a commoditized B2C product that people don't need to research to feel comfortable buying. And with websites being a part of the buying process, the content we need to continue to produce is helpful relevant content that helps people make buying decisions.

    When will RUclipsrs stop all these clickbait content like "XYZ is dead"?
    Blogging can never in a million years be dead. What's dead is Blogging and rely solely on Google for traffic.
    There are so many ways to get traffic to your blog if Google doesn't want to rank you.

    • @IMPACTbnd
      @IMPACTbnd  6 месяцев назад

      Hey there! Sorry you felt it was clickbait! We were hoping adding the quotation marks around blogging would still deliver on the promise of the title, since we recommend calling your education hub on your website a "Learning Center"

    You can write stellar content, but Google will still scrape it and serve to people in the shortest way possible without you earning a cent. The only people telling you that blogging is profitable are those selling you expensive courses. I've seen blogs dropping from 700k to 21k per month, and it keeps going down. Unless there is a Google reset, blogging is absolutely dead. Or, if you start a shop along with your blog, that might be something to make money; otherwise, forget about Blogging!

    • @IMPACTbnd
      @IMPACTbnd  7 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, it's not the writing/blog itself that's profitable, but having written content on your website that provides trustworthy answers to your buyers questions that will help you earn sales.
      Thanks for watching!

    The problem with the helpful content argument is that “helpful” is subjective.
    I’d argue that AI is more helpful than most humans when it comes to accurate data driven information.
    Therefore, “blogging” with AI might present some interesting opportunities if you choose a complementary niche.

    • @IMPACTbnd
      @IMPACTbnd  6 месяцев назад

      Hey there, thanks for watching! While "helpful" could be subjective, we've found that there are five topics that are most helpful to a potential customer when they're making a buying decision.
      1. Cost/Price
      2. Problems of the item or industry (And how to fix them)
      3. Comparisons
      4. Reviews
      5. Best-in-class lists
      AI is able to pull information, but when someone is making a buying decision, they're going to look at your website. When they get there, will they be fed? By addressing these five topics in written form on your website, you're answering common questions and building trust in your brand.
      Definitely agree that using AI to assist in content creation is a great option when done correctly!

    Not only blogging is dead in 2024, the whole Internet is dead in 2024. Zero useful content, 99% p0rn and "influencers" looking for ways to monetize and suck your money...
    I mostly only watch retro gaming channels on RUclips nowadays. Thats it.

    Ok so I go write original content. Then my competitors use AI to go grab my content and make it their own. This is ridiculous lol.

    • @IMPACTbnd
      @IMPACTbnd  7 месяцев назад

      That would be incredibly frustrating if someone decided to plagiarize like that! The problem if you don't write original content, or content at all, is that when someone looks to your site for information, you won't have any there and that potential customer will leave.

    As an individual person, i wrote over 30K bloggs a year , i know it sounds excessive ..over past 40 years, 1980 i was diagnosed autistic so naturally i posted on geocities , yahoo google , overall, i expected no responce ,, but because i would answer~ older adult with autism questions then its only now with me retiring and after 20 years of facebook,.. i thought i would read peoples responses to my posts ~ finally , i realised cos i had the year it was written ,now people respond about how similar life is now, of course my writting style changed over 20 years of mental health blogging, i still read new blog posts as i used to have over 1K follow each blog by year ,i have also noticed children of my orignal autism group reading our conversations about blogging forever & never having children .. which is rather amusing , as our parents wrote same thing on letters before we were born, so blogging isnt or doesnt appear to have an audience , until the kids see the blog 20 years later

    • @IMPACTbnd

      Thanks for your comment! You're right. The old way of blogging - just writing posts without a good reason - isn't the best choice anymore. What's really important now, as we talked about in the video, is writing stuff that's actually helpful.
      If we just write random things like '10 summer tips' for a pool company, it's not really helping anyone. It's better to write about things people really want to know - like answers to their questions about pools. That's what Google likes too. They want longer posts that really explain things, not just short posts that don't say much.
      So yes, the old way of blogging might be fading away, but writing helpful stuff? That's here to stay. It's all about giving buyers the information they need to make good choices. Hope this helps clear things up!

      Hey there! SEO can be tricky and a longer-term play. In the short-term, we also need to be proactive in getting our content in front of our customers, whether that's in the sales process, on our website, or other method.
      Thanks for watching!
