- I ride the brand new 2024 ktm 300 exc tbi on a special test in South Africa. This is a course through the woods to really test the bike and see what it can do. I'm not a professional so it's a real riders first look at the bikes capabilities. It crashes well :)

Hi mate did you ride the new 250 exc? If so what are you thoughts on that vs the new 300?
Going to be buying one in the next month or so. Think I'm going to go with the 300xc though just for the linkage suspension, although I've heard the new 300 xcw is able to be ridden fast with the pds where as before the bike wanted to stink bug. Would be interesting to ride both back to back

I’ve noticed a lot of slow guys seem to like the 300s more than the 250s…. Just more forgiving with having a torque range everywhere I guess.
That’s why all pros ride 300s hmmm
It’s because the 300 has so much torque in the bottom end. You can ride really steep technical terrain and keep traction where as a 250 would spin
The 250 is better for fast technical a start/stop riding like in this video, think single track. The 300 has much more torque and is more versatile so you can still ride areas like this but they shine in slow and technical terrain. If you want to wring it’s neck get the 250, otherwise the 300
Midwest what is that thing on the left side handlebars that's black and almost circular in shape?
So here's a question, we do mostly woods riding, but I would dig to do a few enduros as well, Would you say 250 or 300 is a better fit? I haven't tried any of them yet. Just curious on your opinion.

@@joejefferies6668 Thanks man, Funny, KTM came around this side to demo the 2024 models as well! For the loops that we did the 250 2T was allot better for me. I'm going to post a video about is as well. I was quite surprised, also thought the 300 will feel better. I think I know why.
@g69sonix I now own a 24 300 exc and it just lugs like you wouldn’t believe. i also own a 2019 300 with a TBI kit and that is a beast too

Just a question do these come with 2 exhausts im seeing some with std expansion pipes and some with long headers with lambda on. Someone enlighten me please?

@@Swerwe0no. Unless it’s literally falling to bits and will require an extra 1000 - 2000 to fix it.
