For initial setup and pairing yes you need to be on the same wifi or ethernet network

the problem is am having is during the setup. i do everything up to the point where it tells me to sign into Playstation Network and it just gives me a error message. anyone have any clue how to get past that?

Unplug ur modem/router from wall socket, wait 30 seconds then plug back in and give it a minute to connect then try again. 👍

Hi I was just wondering how long did it take for it to download the software ? My fiancée got me one for an early Christmas present today and I tried to set it up and it won’t go past 47 percent 😞 I restarted my router and the portal and it’s stuck on the download . I have fast internet so the upload speed shouldn’t be an issue but idk what else to do 😞Do you know how to fix this issue ?
