There is a relay on these that go bad . Theres 2 of them under the rear fenders . U can bumb start it but when u try to use electric start it will just crank. Bad realay will couse to loose spark when using the starter button.
Hey are they called the neutral switch really and starter relay? I’ve tried bump starting but the hasn’t started and the motor just cranks. When I was loading it one of the relays fell off do you think it’s a bad one?
I just bought a 87 warrior 350 and only my recoil start works and i wanna get my electric start working but i don’t know whats wrong with it and the previous owner just told me it didnt work
Well it was a combo of low compression; bad parts from china & the wrong CDI box. The starter clutch parts I replaced it with were garbage as was the cdi box. Combine those with low compression & you will never get a start. I redid the top end with new piston & rings; new timing chain; put OEM parts on for the starter clutch & put OEM cdi box on and she runs awesome. Starts everytime.
Did you unplug the clip coming off the switches and do a continuity test between pos and neg for the start button? Mine was full of dirt. Cleaned it and it worked again.

Bro same thing happend to me. The starter was turning the other way. Change the brushes on it and it turned the way it should

So I have a 2001 Yamaha wolverine 350 bought new battery and siloniod push button start not working did before will start it cross the siloniod

Use a punch to get the oil dran bolt out works every time
