Thanks. I really hope so. Scratching my head on the driveshaft. I have a new one built but if it interferes with the cross brace I'll have to come up with a creative solution.
It's great to see you back at it ! We all have life to deal with and the summer heat so I am just as guilty of putting my 69 aside. These videos are what I needed to get motivated again !
A ton going on at the house. I've thought about filming it, but that's really a pain lol. Landscaping still going on, and planning a 200ft fence that'll be welded together.
No, I haven't given up. I work full time and I've had other things at the house to do too. I'm nibbling away at videos and filming to get more done on the truck. Hopefully soon, I'll have something new to post. I'd like to get back to a regular schedule of uploads.
Looking good, I just left 6 miles of wiring on the shop floor, I hate it. Did you decide to keep the tank behind the seat? I'm running the CVPI engine and trans so mine was an easy decision to remove it. I just know it will be hard to keep fumes out.
I'm not there yet, but I will likey have a custom tank built to fit between the rear two crossover braces on the frame. For reasons I have pointed out in past videos, moving those braces is dangerous, so a custom tank is a better option.
I have not mounted shocks yet but I have some. I don't know what they are off the top of my head. They're in a huge pile of parts and were take offs from another lowered F100. As far as mounting them, I am using the brackets from the Explorer for the rear and stock mounts on the frame. I'll throw them for a future video. Not the next one though, it's already been filmed and is in editing.
@@yarkie1 I have not driven it yet, so I cant give a real world review yet, but as far as appearance, I'd recommend them. Stronger than the frame and quality hardware was included.
Yes. If you don't, the axle will hit the frame. Or you could run airbags and keep the rear really stiff. I did it because I could bounce the rear into the frame. That's bad...
@@RIPbiker13 thanks, will b dealing with this when i get back to trk. in the spring. workin on trading my '73 Ranchero for a '72 long bed as of the other day. it needs cab work also. wanna come help? lol. i guess i may know what i'm doin' after i finish Wife's cab, & if i get this other one.
@@davehollamon1985 I didn't know what I was doing when I started. Now I look at some things and I think, I can do that, easy. But it's always hard work.
Haha yeah, I was trying to streamline it a little bit. My computer crashed and I lost a lot of my titles, my watermark, music, a lot. So, new comp and I guess that makes this season 2...?
Wow looked what project is back. Good to see you at it again.
That looks like good made notch kit.
Love the new wheels!! Going to look great!

looking good!!! where did you get your wheel?
They are American Racing wheels. I got them in exchange for installing a CV front end in someone's truck.
Great build, how did you go about mounting shocks on the rear and what did you go with?

Maybe I missed it, but what c notch kit did you use?
There is a link in the description to website I got them from.

Yup. I see that now. Lol. Are you happy with it? Have you driven it yet?

Any update on this? Have you driven it? I'm still thinking of getting this. I drive mine last summer and bottomed out all the time.
Here's a Stupid Question! i want to put my rear on top of the springs like you, But: do i Need to C-notch frame?

What diferencial you run ?
That rear is 8.8 3.55 ratio from a 2000 Ford Explorer.
Just realized there was no intro

@@RIPbiker13 Ahh I get it. I liked the intro but what ever makes it better and easier for you go for it. Keep up the good work
