LOWERING REAR SUSPENSION FORD F100 - HOW TO C NOTCH DIY
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 18 июн 2021
- Lowering the back suspension on Ford F100 requires C-notches in the frame rails. I take out the differential and leaf springs and show you how to do a proper C notch without having to buy any parts or kits. If you have the tools, this C notch will be for free!

Rock N Roll Div! Thanks for the videos
Hi Brother ,I was missing you and decided to catch up on some "Vintage Dif".It is nice to see how your shows have matured to become as precise as your skills. well done brother. Mike
Thank you. Yes, like anything, the more you do, the better you get. Even if it's slow sometimes 🙂
Spoko 🖐️
very very nice notches!
Another great video and good job on the c-notches
Nice job Div... You do clean work...
Thank you!
good job
Nice work
I would put the springs under the axle ⚡️
I did put them under the axle bro. The C notch is to provide clearance for the axle.
There’s no flies on leaka boet ⚡️
Neet trick i got one to extend 6 inches 🤪
Enjoy!
How did you end up dropping the front I beams
I cut a coil and a half from each spring. Check out some of the other videos in the F100 play list
I think you've cut too much: the vehicle was probably rated a 1 tonner, but it will never carry a ton ever again. And the rubber bumper would stop any accidental over reach.
Thanks for your opinion. Remember, this vehicle will end up as a lowered street truck, not work horse that will carry loads any longer. I will post a video if I ever bend/ break the frame rails😂
Thanks
This is common here in the usa lot of people doing this and a crown vic frong subframe swap too to lower the trucks im goinv to do this on my 66 f100
