how to fix freezing radio on Freightliner Cascadia truck

I found that most cascadia's of the newer model have the same problem just remove the fuse and put it back and it should fix the problem and then I hear people say take it to the dealership to get the radio replaced hope this video helps people like And subscribe thank you

Same problem here with 2020 cascadia, driving me crazy and had no idea it was a common issue. Maybe they'll eventually come up with a software update as it's obviously a can-bus issue. Thank you sir for the vid

You know I read one of the comments on this video, and someone said just turn off the kill switch and turn it back on he’s right. That worked and fixed the problem, which was a lot easier.

Novel concept. Maybe Freightliner should fix their effin 💩 before it ever leaves the factory. 2020 had to have a firmware update to keep it from freezing. 4 years later, my 2024 is glitching as well

Haha goddamn bieber! As a Canadian named Justin. I hate that kid! On a note related to this video. There is also a battery switch next to your seat. You don’t have to open panels. Just turn your truck off open your door and rotate your switch

If you read the comments this is for the newer model Cascadias In these models the switch by the seat does not turn off the power to the whole tractor anymore That's why I made this video most people know about the switch already
