WALLEYE FISHING POOL 4 MISSISSIPPI RIVER | 2023 EARLY SEASON MINNESOTA

Got to experience what all the hype is over pool 4 on the Mississippi River. Safe to say there are some giant fish swimming down there. Not only did we get two 23” walleyes, but a lot of sauger and saw a giant catfish and sturgeon get caught too!
We were just using a three-way rig with a fathead minnow in anywhere from 20-35ft of water. It does get pretty crowded while fishing, but if you make friends with the neighboring boats it’s a great time.
