Today we are back with another video. Today we are doing some summer river fishing on the Mississippi River. I always love fishing the river and this was another great trip! In this video I caught a ton of walleyes on a live bait rig and casting some crank baits. This is a deadly One Two Punch for summer river walleyes!

Idea for a new show Tom once a week you climb into one of our boats and and just teach some poor shmo like me how to use his boat and gear. It would be funny and educational. And you would be forced to answer the very things we all struggle with. By you getting down here where we live you'll be making your show better too. 😁

I’ve been Walleye fishing on Pool 2 almost daily for the past 3 years and 19 years in total. It would be awesome if you could make a video there. Not many people have made videos Walleye fishing Pool 2.
Wouldn't be the mississippi river without big walleye and a thousand sheephead lol absolutely love it! Pool 2 "the deuce" around the 494 bridge is one of my favorite areas

I agree that rivers are diverse. On any given day trolling plugs, jigging and worm harness produce at varying times in any given day.

River eyes baby!
Do you ever do any mid-Mississippi river walleye fishing? Around pool 22-24? I know your doing sheels seminars, there’s one in Springfield Illinois. This part of the Mississippi wouldn’t be to far out of the way! Seems like a lot of the Mississippi River walleye videos on many channels are northerly river pools.
Maybe a reservoir!?!?
I seems to me boat control is 75% of river fishing if you could do a video on just boat control I think you would go a long way to creating better fishing experience for many of us.

Tom great video as always but do you ever fish, i believe it's lock n dam #8 in Genoa wi. I haven't seen any videos made there but fishing can be good. I've been trying for years to figure it out but my locattor is 1995 technology so that's part of the problem. Just would love to see you break it down. If my health get's better and i can go again I'll update my technology. Thanks tom great work as always!!!

i live 3 hrs from erie and 40 min from the ohio river. my biggest fish came outta the ohio river.....dont under estimate rivers.
