Puri Bhaji done right is one of my favourite dishes. I can eat copious amounts. I trust more of street food in India as hygiene is improving but as you said before avoid ice. Unfortunately, and I've seen it for myself, while the food is excellent restaurants cut corners. The place we went to in Mumbai just dipped the empty plates in same water, a quick wipe the plate are used again. This place was obviously looking at money before wellbeing. This channel is great. Thanks for showing the food and giving your opinion on it. Keep it up. By the way the chai you had is called a "cutting chai". This basically is a small portion. The idea is you have it hot many times in your work day. When ever you get a tiny glass it's likely to be a cutting tea. Restaurants here (UK) are adopting that approach.... Only to make money out of you. A small glass like that would not satisfy me.

Nobody drinks lassi after chai. Similarly nobody eats a full meal after masala dosa. Each thing is eaten at a different time and serves a different purpose. Let me give you some tips, hope you won't mind. Early morning breakfast (7 am) either idli/masala dosa, not both since it will be too much food and drink hot tea. Lunch (12-12:30 noon) you eat thali. Evening meal you take a very light meal and drink lassi after that. Avoid drinking lassi after eating sweets of any kind since lassi is already sweet. If you eat the way you did in this video, you will have long term health issues mainly due to excess consumption. I am personally into intermittent fasting and only one meal a day for my fitness. So even I won't eat the way I've recommended above in my comment. But most Indians eat like this.

  • @TheDrKKool

Any local natural yogurt, like you had in the lassi, should provide enough probiotic (healthy) bacteria to ward off most common food borne illness in the local street foods, if any. Keep drinking the local yogurt drinks and trying the local food offerings, and you will be fine. Good luck and keep youtubing. Cheers, K

Bro, Spicy food,, then hot chai then lassi. Recipe for acidity. Everything was fine except the lassi. Avoid cold liquid foods that has water in it. Even us Indians avoid it, when we go to different cities. Recipe for explosive diarrhoea. Be careful. There was no one there in the lassi store, u see.
